6 or 4-pot would depend on the type of car your drive and what the performance enhancements under the hood are.

 

For normal cars, a 4-Pot is more than enough.

you go search for my posting about brake modulation.

 

It's not so simple as, Hey I put a 6 pot in front or 2 pot at the back. You will mess up your brake Biasing. Your big 6 pot might be too big for your brake master cylinder and your brake pump to handle. Thus, you end up with soft feeling and higher travel on your brake peddal.

 

But then again, few people really care, so you just need to upgrade the front that's all.

i was in your shoes couple of months ago, considering VTTR, Wilwood n those 'new' brands (drift racing? JBT.. etc).

Went to RaceTech, and they didn't seem to know what they're talking about, quite bo chup as well.

end up i got a pair of 4pot Wilwood dynalites

 

How about this? Endless mini 6pot.. but i think close to 3k for the calipers alone

i would go for vttr, forged aluminum... lighter than the normal cast aluminum used on jbt... not sure if jbt has forged aluminum though...
