Sounds like your dentist quite skilful, furthermore he is a maxillofacial surgeon, should be much better than normal dentist?! If I were to do my wisdom tooth surgery, it should be quite complicated since mine is grow horizontally and very near to nerve line. That's why until now i still very scare to go do my surgery, cause don't want to end up i have permanent nerve damage due to the skills no good of the dentist.

One more thing, better to get it out when u r still young, recovery is faster

you are right about the nerve damage . . . for botch jobs, tiagong some end up [hur]

One more thing, better to get it out when u r still young, recovery is faster

Think most people will wait until their wisdom tooth give problem, then they will  go get it out. Lol.

kekeke, but hor, this wisdom tooth problem wont go away de, especially if after xtray, confirm not enuff space for it to grow or it's not growing straight

 

If inflamed, then need to take antibiotics before can do surgery

Yes, you seem to have the same type of wisdom tooth as mine. Just do it, the earlier you do the surgery, the better it is. Just make sure you go to a skilful dentist/surgeon.

Even wisdom tooth does not give any problem, surely it is better to take it out than leaving there and wait for it to rot. Lol.

Definitely. If you wait until it hurts and gums are swollen, you have to wait further until swelling subsides before you can do the surgery. More wait, more agony. That was what happened to me when I decided to take them out.

i remember watching this medical talkshow (forgot whats the name or what channel. all i can remember its a china production where the doc/prof teaches people how to eat etc). they mentioned that the lesser teeth you have, the shorter your lifespan or something like that..  [lipsrsealed]

Yes yes. Especially after Xrated, confirm not enuff space for it to grow or it's not growing straight....sure inflamed one.

$650 for surgery, $100 for normal extraction of the wisdom tooth on top, which is recommended when the bottom tooth is removed. Otherwise the top tooth will slowly shift down and you will have to remove it anyway.

 

The surgery part can be paid from Medisave, normal extraction by cash. Note that this pricing was more than 7 years back.

Yours is private surgeon right? Now private rate is around $800-1k for surgery.
