Thermodynamics Neutral Newbie June 9, 2008 Share June 9, 2008 If you have narrowed down your choice, then it makes it easier to read up reviews and feedback on this devices from www.malsingmaps.com Unless you got deep pockets, I suggest you buy one of the two first. In general, the Garmin 60CSx I am using is a better navigator than nuvi300. Damn rugged, reliable and accurate with loads of functions that any GPS should have. Disadvantage is its input system (no touch screen) and small screen size. It does not speak or prompt in words. Instead, it just beeps to prompt you of turns with text language displayed on screen. If you want to input destination while driving, it is impossible. You have to stop one side and do what you want. Nuvi is different since it has touch screen and big screen size. Downside is that it is not a very versatile navigator compared to 60CSx. Value for money: 60CSx
Thermodynamics Neutral Newbie June 9, 2008 Share June 9, 2008 You can give Perfect Watch at Sim Lim Square a call to check out the prices and availability of models. I am not sure if they still sell nuvi 300 with TTS function. Tip: you can ask for price with and without original garmin map.
