Agree. Most websites & file servers dont even support 1mbps download speed. In fact, most download speed such as yahoo, youtube, rapidshare, etc, download speed are under 200kbps most of the time.

 

For example, for checking of yahoo email, watching youtube or even downloading multiple files from websites/public file servers, there is no difference in download speed between a 1mbps plan or a 10mbps plan 99.9% of the time.

 

Compare the cost of 10mbps plan with a 1mbps plan & see how much money can save.

don't bother...sign for the 50% without the bundled laptop.

 

Cos is if you do the calculation on the diff in total that you pay with and without the bundled laptop, the price that you "safe" can give you the chance to buy other laptop with much better specs that the bundles ones cos the bundled laptops are not new liao.

 

I did exactly the same when I recontract to 10Mbps. the $ diff I spend on the souped up dell laptop during the last IT show. Never regret till today...lucky never choose the last time bundled acer or mac too.

That was before they offer unlimited plans, now is too congested, 7.2mbps people suck up all bandwidth from 3.5m users. Try it and u curse and swear
