hi bros, any one done sound proofing for their vehicle?

i would like to sound proof my 2 front door.. would like to noe the rough budget i need to fork out.. and wat material they using..

okie done some search.... guess the cheapest way is to DIY.....or else it will cos mi few hundred juz to soundproof two doors! aarrgghhh

Based on the infos in the Resource Folder, the total cost will not be expensive if you are going to DIY, although a lot of perspiration will come out of it. [laugh][laugh]

hahha i dun mind wasting my sweat for some money. infact the satisfaction after finishing it is better den throwing extra cash and maybe not getting a good job done.

although DIY wont look tat nice ( gauging from my skill )

Accumat or aeroflex.......think the good accumat can get around 60 for 2 door......DIY.

think i muz practise doing mine.. i scare wait i open den all the alarm wires all drop out.. wah seh.. sure faint on the spot seeing the wires.... 60 for both doors ... tatz cheap... any of u bros here does DIY:?

get cable ties ready....then you can clean up the wires.....

tat would cost a bomb wont it... i juz got quote 500 plus for a 4 channel brigdeable amp with a 6 and half inch compo speakers...

i haben ask for the subs leh... ahhah need to do door pods also...

for doing up the door... when u open up the doors... theres a plastic coverin the wirings and stuff.. u all actually cover up tat part with the sound proof mat or u all juz stuff the thing into the holes of the doors?

oh now i get why u need cable ties.....

big big sweat to cut the mat into nice nice shapes... ermmm i think i better view on others work before doing on mine... wait do wrongly.. sianz...waste money again..
