Dunno Neutral Newbie August 30, 2008 Share August 30, 2008 May be loose connection on the crossovers, or one of the wires is broken so the contact is not full. ↡ Advertisement
Ivan0507 Neutral Newbie August 30, 2008 Share August 30, 2008 bro.you output wire from the amp to crossover is wrong ,try look at the amp left output wire goes to the left spker and amp right output wire goes to right spker. seen your prevous post ,look like your crossover wire input and output are all wrong .if the xover--- tweeter and mid output to the speaker connection wrong ,you will hear your mid speaker sound very soft.eg: from the xover tweeter output suppose to goes to the tweeter .and mid output from the xover suppose to goes to the mid woofer .if you reverse it ,mid woofer sound will become softer. Firespitter Neutral Newbie September 6, 2008 Share September 6, 2008 If you can come down to Balestier Road, I can troubleshoot for you FOC. If there's a need, I can repair your crossover. 97689838
Dizzyg Neutral Newbie October 8, 2008 Share October 8, 2008 Hi guys and girls. Anybody faced this problem before? My front left speaker and tweeter will intermittently go soft. Now is all of the time (almost no sound). But when I blast music, it will distort a bit then come back to live! Then after a while, it will die off again. I have a 4 channel amp powering my front and rear speakers. I tried switching from channel 1 and 2 (front) to 3 and 4. The left side still gives problems. Any advice? I usually listen to very low volumns when I am with family. Only turn it up when alone. I currently facing this problem intermittently.. albeit it's just my left tweeter which is giving me problems at times. Sometimes the volume turned off... at other times there's no sound from the tweeter... intend to check at the shop but got no time... hehe might as well upgrade to a better speaker... haha ↡ Advertisement
