A modified saloon car crashed into a tree early this morning, causing spinal injuries to a 24-year-old female passenger and serious injuries to its 21-year-old driver. The two were later sent to hospital for treatment. At around 1:12am today, a driver was suspected to have lost control of his saloon car at the stretch of Bideford Road in front of Paragon. The car crashed into a tree and lamppost by the roadside, swerved to the right and finally stopped on the right lane. A Civil Defence spokesperson said that the female victim sustained spinal injuries on top of multiple injuries to her body. She was still conscious and was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. The driver was also sent to the same hospital for cuts on his right leg and bruises on his left arm. Source: Shin Min Daily News, 24 April 2011. I was looking at the Land Rover Owners Singapore facebook page and saw this: https://www.facebook.com/LandRoverOwnersSingapore/photos/a.1482539485294196.1073741829.1481376688743809/1946046702276803/?type=3&theater A land-rover registered with a WDxxxx plate. I know some very old land rovers has the WAxxxx plate. But I thought that scheme was discontinued? I read further a PDF document from LTA's website. Realized that this guy registered his Land Rover as an "engineering plant". As a result, it's exempt from both COE and ARF. Furthermore, can sneak into Malaysia due to similarity with Kuala Lumpur plates. Genius or what ?!??!

How can our MCF Goddess be without a thread of her own???? @babyblade, Demon delicate a thread for you. You want to come here and ask about "BF"? or whatever float? Anyone wants to ask Babyblade anything, come and ask her. And yes, I needed some NTUC vouchers badly, and need to create threads because I want to talk myself.

I read through the AMA thread, and I still don't understand why it is locked. It is a thread created in lite & ezi, so is there a need to get too serious over it? Are the exchanges in there really so far off or are ppl just acting noble? If there can be a Jason tiko thread, why can't there be some less formal small talks in the forum? I notice that almost all the time, if not most of the time, @chryst kept herself to one thread, the AMA thread. All the talks were confined to one thread which was dedicated to her. I don't see her running all over the place and OT in every or many threads (i think some old birds are worse). So whats the big deal? There are so many topics in mcf, select those you are interested in and participate there, leave those "too low class" topics to ppl who share a common interest in to have a fair share of the forum. So, @chryst, come here, this is a new home for you.

I guess I sound like spamming, but I've been here a while, enough post so that I don't appear as a spam account, no? But, anyway, since pretty much all of you have cars, you can try out this place, whose biggest problem is accessibility: http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/papa_palheta/ The coffee is really quite good. Very little sourness and bitter aftertaste, though I've tried only two beens (Indonesia something and Papua New Guinea). Also, pretty cheap for such good brews, $3.50 (it's actually tip based, you don't even have to pay anything, but please don't be an anus, mmmkay?)

...Not asking about her looks, but her behaviour. Please pardon me. I normally don't like to do such things, but this lady really is I was sitting on an empty table waiting for my colleague to buy his lunch when this lady sat on the empty table beside mine and shoved the used tray and used bowls onto my table, right in front of me. This is really the ultimate - 1st time I came across such a person. When my colleague came back with his food, I simply took the tray and put it on the Tray Collection Centre just 10 metres away. No point arguing with such person.

Inconsiderate Driver , what do you think about this?
Dezouk posted a topic in General Car Discussion
Hi all What a nice morning to have today, as usual when i was about to turn into the carpark , i have noticed this white Lancer EX , being stationary on the lane beside me. As this is a one lane road, why should this driver just parked his car on the lane leading to the exit of the carpark which caused inconvience to the others , btw he had his P plate hung up there. After i had parked, walked passed the car at 1015am, went for my breakfast, came back its still there at 1130am...and when i was about to leave the CP, several cars where delayed due to this car parked there ...haiz...So what do you think ? ----- Subject: Puzzle Three men went to a hotel to share a room. The clerk asked for $300. Each man paid $100, making up the $300. The hotelkeeper then decided to allow a discount for the day, charging only $250 for the room. He told the clerk to return $50 to the three men. The clerk pocketed $20 for himself. He gave the remaining $30 back to the three men. Each man took back $10. Therefore, each man paid $100 - $10 = $90 for the night. $90 x 3 = $270 + the clerk's $20 = $290. Question: Where has the remaining $10 gone?
