  1. https://mothership.sg/2020/03/chicken-car-run-over/ Driver almost run over a family of chicks.... Luckily every one of the chicks manage to survive, imagine how brutal it will be if one of it died.. The driver also has an expired road tax and is still driving the vehicle!!
  2. For years... the long and painful war against the tyrants of the roads... the cyclists... has dragged on and on. Eh, we tahan a lot already OK! Repeating instances like these make it so hard to like them, don't you agree? At a bustling junction at Potong Pasir (segueing into Serangoon Road), in the early evening when road users were making their way home after a tiring day at work--- a dashcam video was captured of this errant cyclist! Such misdeeds put onto record, laid out for the world to see. Take a look at the video, if you can bear the oncoming rage you will feel: 293790065_1041116233131622_7034219696884844264_n.mp4 Damn. If you didn't catch that, the lady cyclist basically: 1) Almost rammed into a taxi Here is a zoom in: 2) Then, continued cycling on her merry way, disregarding the flow of traffic, 3) Causing the owner of the dashcam to have to brake abruptly Goodness gracious me. Fuiyoh! All her actions speak volumes about her mindset and values. We don't like to nag so we will just let our favourite Doge meme express how we feel: Doesn't it just make you seethe? The utter callousness of the cyclist? I think I shook my head so much my neck now has a cramp. The court of public opinion As one might expect, the online commentators ripped into the cyclist viciously. No mercy given here, no! Top Fan No.1 took on a chiding and reprimanding tone. While we agree that not all cyclists act like her... It seems funny that 99.5% percent always seem to exhibit the same traits of road-hogging and dangerous riding that causes inconvenience to others. But ahem, we digress. Top Fan No.2 delivers his devastating, and well-put, critique too. Haha! That sure is one way of solving the problem. Show her the might of the car horn, brother! Lastly, saving the best for the last: Great question, Top Fan No.3 (Wow! What's with the sudden influx of Top fans? This article must have generated the ire of many) Cease and desist, please We're not saying some people should have their bikes away... We are totally saying they should have their bikes taken away. But is it so hard to practice good road safety and habits? One of the first fundamentals of driving we were taught was to always be aware of your surroundings. (PSA to cyclists: please don't do what she did. Just know, if you ever pull the same stunt she did, inside the cars they will be cursing you soundly.) What if a car had slammed into her? What if she had crashed into a vehicle she was not aware of? Hospital bills, workshop fees. The worst part for the others involved? It wouldn't have been their fault. An accident that could have been easily avoided. Don't play play, life is precious. Good road habits may very well be the difference in whether you make it home alive and in one piece... or in a blue SPF tent. As always, stay safe, readers! ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. Join us today!
  3. Just venting cos I found the situation so frustrating. Currently in a crowded food court. Managed to get a seat for myself and my daughter after a long while looking for empty seats. I saw a family of 4 at a set of 3 small tables joined together. Each small table can seat 2. Went ahead and asked the father if tge space at the third table was taken....It was. ..by his son's bag. His reply. .."too cramped". I looked at hi and said "II am shifting the table." And proceeded to do so. How selfish people can be even when they don't need the space and don't care if people are looking or waiting for seats. : (
  4. Just received a "request for driver's particulars" notice quoting "inconsiderate driving (non-acctd lv) under section 65b of road traffic act chap.276". Event took place 10 days back during evening peak hour at Nicoll highway slip road onto KPE. Cannot remember what happened (as I used this daily), nor seen any plain clothes or Cisco standing there noting down offending vehicles. Just what does TP mean by inconsiderate driving in this instance?
  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWhtf4Xp4IY What are these drivers thinking ! Retards ? What had happened today ... The grey Toyota has overtook both my car and the BMW in front of me, but had caused the red car exiting from his parking lot unable to maneuver out from his place because the red car need to reverse a little aback to make the turn out. Interestingly, the Silver Mark X was also exiting from his parked lot right in front of me. It is obvious that the BMW would already saw there was an empty lot once the red car exited. He could had taken the red car's lot instead of the lot exited by the Silver Mark X (right in front of me ) If only the BMW could just park at where the red car had exited, and I take the Mark X lot, all would be so smooth and fine. Yet the BMW chose to park at the Mark X lot, having me to reach for the further lot where the red was at. What are these drivers thinking ? Seriously !
  6. Went for the annual Qing Ming session yesterday at Peck San Theng @ Bishan. In other years, we will avoid the 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the actual day, to avoid the expected jam. This year, though, my uncle asked my mother to go yesterday (which I realized only when i asked being stuck in the jam, that it's the very weekend of Qing Ming) as my that works best for my cousins. Big mistake! I went via CTE side and missed the long queue which started before SPH, then had the bad experience of having to try to cut into the bumper-to-bumper queue of cars waiting to turn into Peck San Theng… Even before I reached there (to start to squeeze), at the traffic light, can hear got cars sounding (not sounded) their horns non-stop - an indication of the frustration of being obediently queueing but seeing other vehicles cutting in in front. The fact that the cars inside the single-lane road were crawling (as most cars will stop to allow passengers to alight somewhere inside, hence stopping traffic), doesn't help. 10+ years ago, when caught in such jams, I would let my folks alight on the main road, then I proceed to go to the HDB carpark opp RI to park and walk over, so as not to get caught in the unpleasant situation like yest. Now my folks are 79 and 82, and my mother had knee op on one leg last year, and is going for the other leg next month. She walks with a walking stick, very very slowly - but refuses to use wheelchair. Yest was to pray to her late parents and elders, and she insisted must go. Wouldn't have been able to make her walk the long distance from main road to go in... Really no choice but had to resort to squeezing in and cutting queue. Can feel the frustration and unhappiness of the other drivers. To them all, very sorry for the bad driving behavior. Apology... Already told my mum, next year if my cousins/uncle side said can only make it on the '2+2' peak weekends, then we split and go separately. Confirm don't want to do this again.
  7. Hi all What a nice morning to have today, as usual when i was about to turn into the carpark , i have noticed this white Lancer EX , being stationary on the lane beside me. As this is a one lane road, why should this driver just parked his car on the lane leading to the exit of the carpark which caused inconvience to the others , btw he had his P plate hung up there. After i had parked, walked passed the car at 1015am, went for my breakfast, came back its still there at 1130am...and when i was about to leave the CP, several cars where delayed due to this car parked there ...haiz...So what do you think ? 8. Recently encountered a commotion at a shopping mall car park. Car A in his lot, driver still in the car. Car B reverse into the available parking lot beside Car A. Car B ferries a family with kids, kids open the car door wide and hard. "Bam!" car door struck Car A. Car A driver exit his car, furious and pissed demand compensation from driver B. Car A: new car plate, new car. Car B: B&B car, looks like going to scrap in another 1-2 years. Some paint-loss/scratches at the doors/bumpers. I suspect Car A might have obvious scratches and even paint loss on his car (Car B is not maintained well for its exterior). Driver A took some photo of the damage and the car plate number for Car B. Driver B was upset and scolded Driver A for being fussy, and defended that kids are innocent. So, fussy driver or just inconsiderate parents?

    Road Hog on PIE

Damn pissed today. entered PIE via Clementi Ave 6 towards airport and managed to move to Lane 1, then noticed the cars ahead of me, about 5 of them, was moving at 75~80kmh. As we continue along the expressway, I managed to see the road hogger but unfortunately as it was evening peak time, Lane 2 was also quite jam, so no choice had to follow him all the way until Toa Payoh then managed to undertake the hogger. Bloody fool is damn inconsiderate!!!
  10. Though it didn't affect me, I was damn TL to see those drivers. I was on my way back from Msia and was queuing up at the 2nd link yesterday afternoon. As the traffic was heavy, there was 3 lines instead of the usual 2 lines. The line on the left most had to squeeze a bit with the bus lane. There were few cuckoo drivers who drove their car so far left, which they could easily veer closer to the right to let the bus go. There was particularly this black matrix. I was this young lady, prob in early 20s, eating some tidbits while driving and the father sitting next to her. She was clearly obstructing the bus at the back and could just easily left the bus pass. Despite the bus driver horning at them, she just bo chup. This went on for like 15 minutes or so until when the bus manage to passby, the driver wind down the window to scold the driver, and the father had the cheek to scold back. What an idiot.
  11. Sharing some videos of persistent road hoggers i met recently. If you think road hogging is bad, you should look at these elites. Ya i know my music is loud, blackvue microphone cannot tahan my SPL 5k setup. There is no law in singapore that disallow loud music while travelling. Lane 1 is NOT a cruising lane. don't be like that ambulance idiot and jam the 1st lane. Dont blame people for tailgating because you are the one that cause the tailgater to tailgate. NO ONE WILL tailgate an considerate driver. *Note that in all my video i will high beam the driver 1st to let him/her know to please give way, dont block the OVERTAKING lane, THEN only if he/her ignore then i will horn. Already given the necessary warnings, people just choose to cruise on an OVERTAKING lane. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PgpO3MVXOU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbyKg63w8H0
  12. http://youtu.be/8fx431yAbpE On Tuesday 14th Oct 2014 at 9.30pm, I was driving along Jalan Besar and come across a road hogger (SGH 2683R) who was driving at about 20-30 km/h. When i signal to him that he was blocking the road, he deliberately jam brake a few times, trying to cause an accident. When i signal left to turn into a side road, he abruptly change lane to cut into my lane and stop by the side of a double yellow line to block me from moving forward. Trafiic Police, please do your part by booking him for inconsiderate driving, dangerous driving, illegal parking on the double yellow line. Please see video at http://youtu.be/8fx431yAbpE
  13. if car is parked and dvr recorded the incident, is it claimable? eg. driver beside your car slams onto your door when getting out. pain chips and dent?
  14. Talk about goodu and inconsiderate at the same time This car was driven by a young girl <20 with 3 girlfriends as passengers She took a while to position her car but did no bother to try straightening it properly into the lot at all. All four girls stepped out , realised the situation but yet nonchalantly walked off without a qualm. I was going to give her an earful once i parked but with two kids in tow, i just couldnt do it in time. Welcome to a new generation of oblivious inconsiderate drivers. *shake head*
  15. Just received the notice of "inconsiderate driving" under section 65A. Fine $170 and 9 demerit points. Can't recall exactly what I did to warrant this, but on that day I was turning right from Balestier road to Thomson road, and filtered left immediately onto PIE. That was the first time I travelled this route so when turning right I lined up in the rightmost lane, then right after the turn I realized I need to filtered all the way to the leftmost lane immediately to PIE. I did signal as I habitually do, but maybe I crossed some double whilte line? On the hindsignt I should probably have lined up in the leftmost lane that allows a right turn. Anyone with experience of successful appeal?
  16. Nowdays, lane 2 of expressway's speed is already pretty much slowed down by slower large vehicles like trucks and lorries. But now some even attempt to travel on lane 1 causing lane 1 to be slower. I was travelling on CTE when a lorry cut into lane 1. Understand sometimes that lane 2 is very slow so I expect him to switch back to lane 2 after overtaking. As I continue to watch the lorry, it did not switch back to lane 2 and continue on lane 1 and slow down the speed of lane 1. The 3 vehicles behind the lorry is getting impaitent as there is a clear gap between the lorry and its front car. I was furious and race up to the lorry to video him. Lane 2 is already slowed down, and now they want to disturb lane 1 of the expressway Hope the authorities will keep a watch on them. Video link
  17. STOMPer Pare Port was stuck in a carpark for 30 minutes when a BMW driver parked her vehicle across the exit, blocking other motorists. Said the STOMPer: "I was stuck in car park for more than 30 minutes because a BMW 7-series was parked across the car park exit. "Passers-by gathered near the car, bewildered by such an inconsiderate driver. "Who could it be? Then a female driver turns up. "When asked why she parked so inconsiderately, she stared angrily as though she had done nothing wrong. "Without offering an apology, she acted like some big shot and yelled at us in an accent to get out of her way. "When a passer-by tried to reason with her and stopped her from driving off, she slammed her car door on the poor man, cutting his hand. "She even tried to take a picture. "All those who witnessed the incident were just disgusted with this woman's behaviour. "We let her drive off, but we took her pictures and made a police report. "She may be rich but she cannot treat people this way. "It is just not right. "Can you imagine how she treats others who dare not stand up to her? "What a sad day."
  18. Hi there, Was driving on 150712 @ ard 5.20pm on Jln Boon Lay towards Jln Bahar direction. Encountered a driver who swerved into my lane (w/o signalling), just to 'siam' a slow moving lorry on the 3rd lane. I'm thinking of sending the video to the TP. Anyone had any experience? What will the dangerous driver get? A warning letter from TP? Video
  19. To all road users on AYE yesterday, sorry if I caused any inconvenience or unhappiness with my driving. I was rushing back cos my 4-month old in the car was hungry and crying non-stop. I was trying to get out of the traffic so that I can find a place to stop and for him to get a chance to his feeding. Not safe to have him out of the car seat and have the mum feed him on the road... Was trying to get to a faster lane but as I was lane changing from lane 3 to lane 2 the vehicles in front was braking rather quickly, hence, I had to get back into lane 3 leading to a loud and long horn from a greenish blue nissan as he has to break hard as well. My vehicle was a white lancer with red plate. My sincere apology again for the inconvenience and displeasure caused. Regards, 2009k
  20. Just came Back from a tired shopping day with kids.was drizzling so have to put my wife with my 2 kids(3yrs & 8mths) in shelter for them not to get wet but saw this SGR 2822 D park there permanently. After me, another few cars too can't let them passenger's alight in the shelter. I think this is a very inconsiderate act by this person so I like to ask which place I should sent this photo to? I think should let this fellow know this is not his personal lot, it's a rain shelter for everyone who need to alight & go.
  21. Typo in title. Auto correct again. Should be Inconsiderate Driving Behaviour Recently, I witnessed a few bad driving behavior on Singapore roads. They have always been there but if you are one of the "culprits", please do not do this. 1) I was stuck in a mini jam heading to TPE. Initially, I thought there was an accident involved and the mini jam is understandable. When I went a bit further up, I found there was indeed an accident but the debris has all been cleared to the side of the road. People are just slowing down to take a look at the debris and this cause a ripple effect and jammed up the expressway entry point. 2) A car was making a right turn but as the traffic has not cleared yet, it blocked the way of another car going in the other direction. A young punk in a white suzuki honked, put his gear on neutral and revved aggressively to show the driver his displeasure. Juvenile. Yes, the driver was blocking the way but the traffic on the other site was already moving, and there is nothing the driver could do. Whats wrong with showing a bit more patience? And i think the driver of the car blocking the way was a lady driver too, shame on the driver who try to intimidate a woman like that. In fact, I think it is exactly because the driver was a woman driver that he dared to do that. 3) At a traffic junction, red lights, a car stopped a good 25 mins from the stop line so take the driver can take shelter under the trees. There are many other cars behind.

  24. An inconsiderate lady driver that park her car infront of other people's gate. On Saturday afternoon, waited for the owner of this car for about an hour while washing my car. Politely told her to be considerate while parking her car. She didn't even apologise but said that : "Oh , I should have reverse further more, okok " . . And she just went in to the car and drove off. . . I was like speechless and standing there like a fool . . Too many cases for me. I won't be the good person anymore. Good luck to your vehicle for those inconsiderate drivers.. My maid and dog will be watching you...
