i was told by the uncle rs2 will lose to f1 in terms for daily use plus f1 definately have a better wear rate than rs2.

in the end decided on f1 after much recommendation by the boss...was actually looking at rs2, re001,f1 and ad07. [laugh] perhaps next round will choose others, still in the process in searching for the tires that best suite me..

so far after ytd's wet weather the tires i must say quite good.. it has increase my confidence level i mean in terms of assuring me that i wont skid that easily in the wet plus i know go thru puddles of water no problem liao! but while looking at the rear view mirror i realised the way f1 cut water the car behind must be cursing me all the way. [laugh]

1 small hiccup thou, in my place's mscp i tried turning a bit faster but the rear sway abit too.. not as much as my old set of tyres but it was still noticable. perhaps in mscp its best not to try to be a bit faster. and prolly its that the rubbers havent got season yet.

will fr again after 500km [laugh][:p]

re001 i was quoted $120/pc for F1 was $120/pc..

i dont think these two tyres at same price, re001 should be more ex. if same price go for re001 then. f1 only good in wet grip.

yeah... paiseh typo error... f1 is $85 re001 is $115

wanted to try f1 long ago so took it instead of re001. [;)]

the grooves realy damn swee.. next round of rubber will be re001. but that will be prolly 45k later i hope.. [laugh]

significant difference? Price + Grip

Groove design helps in aqua-plane, tire surface compound is also very important (Google it). Thats where German shines

Don't expect paying less and yet get the same performance..

GY F1 is super slippery on wet carpark surfaces, so be prepared to slow to a crawl OR to drift sweatdrop.gif

If u all noticed last week's post.. im supposed to change tires asap. which i will get it done by this week end. however the longer i research the more confused i become. so if u all would gladly suggest something to me from the above 5pcs or if u have something better please gladly post it.

btw... im looking at 195/50/15

thank u all [;)]

bro, think u may wanna be more specific... when u say better, better in which area. Comfort? Wet grip? dry performance? value for money?

Neutral Newbie

since u r not tracking, thai F1 r gd enuff. no worries abt slipping on wet mscp as the F1 is made to squeal to alert the driver (not a bad thing) much like some models of dunlop.
