Go which Inspection Centre?

My 1st inspection due.. need recommendation on which centre to go for a fuss free inspection? My ride no mods except for a strut bar so should be inspection safe. Hope solar film within specs tho..

try STA Ayer Rajah..went there at about 11+ am on saturday..very fast too..clear within 30 mins

Hi Bro, if u r staying in d west area , jurong insp ctr is good they focus more on

heavy vehicle, for car of your condition, no problem at all it like a snap of

your finger

I prefer STA to Vicom because the queue at the latter was usually longer and the staff were more detailed. A visit to STA usually took 15mins.

 

My most recent one, I sent my ride to that inspection center at AMK industrial park III...not sure it was STA or SIS...that one was quick too.

SIS is the old name for STA.The inspection centre located in AMK park III is JIC now under the managment of Vicom

with the high petrol price, go to one that nearest to you as all of them are HAO SIAO inspection center, molest here and there and pass liao

What u mean by fuss free?? U stand one side and watch ppl work for crying out loud. Ok lah, unlike your typical service centre(Malayan Motors maybe) they dun have massage chair and serving liang teh while u wait.

 

Any of the three will do, it's just a matter of timing to avoid long queues.

how to pass inspection ah? no major mods... do they actually check window tinting?

Just make sure all your headlights, brakelights and signal lights are working. Now there's a loading test which they will run your car on rollers and test for CO2 emmissions(NEA directive). There's nothing much u can do on this one, nothing to worry about.

 

If no major mods, nothing to worry. Tinting will be checked only if they suspect sth is not right. Your brakes and handbrakes will be checked under load too. No handbrake turn of course. U should know yourself since it's your car.
