Recently contacted Benson for tinting and was told he's no longer heading the company.

They are currently closed and undergoing a transition phrase.

TintMaster's warranty will however be honored by the new company. [nod]

As TintMaster's Royal on my Avante cannot pass LTA regulation, thus I did TintMaster's Premium Plus, i.e. IRR Front 80% and IRR Rear 90%. However I still feel the substantial amount of heat on my arms, even my laps, when I drive. Is this normal?

Hi WhiteCVT,

Do you have any news on TintMaster's confirmed whereabout, contact and their operational hours?

Thanks.

tint master has shift to ubi frontier. think business hr is 1030 to 7pm

I just did my car tinting at their new shop in ubi ave3 (just beside auto-bac)yesterday morning(saturday).

This is their new identity:

ABSOLUTE TINT PTE LTD

50Ubi Ave3 , Frontier #01-07

Tel ; 67425137

It's now headed by Eugene (window film) and partners (car grooming using MOTHERS)

The window film installer , Owen is there now .This dude has tremendous patience and experience - good workmanship .

He started doing my ride at about 11am and work thru lunch till abt 230pm .

I was recommended by Eugene the middle range package with an upgrade to the highest range of heat rejecting film for the front windscreen plus front windows which are LTA friendly as he reasoned that my ride already came with factory tinted windows and going straight for the platinum series will further darken the rear window which LTA may fail it the next time I go for car inspection every 2 years now for me .

Here's the window film spec for my ride :

front IR - 95% VLT - 88% UV - 99.9% (windscreen + 2 front windows)

rear IR - 75% VLT - 31% UV - 99% (rear windscreen + 2 rear windows)

I paid SGD320 for a small size sedan .

had just sms benson regarding installing solar films on my car.

apparently, he told me that he still looking for place for his new shop.

previous car's solar film was done by him. nothing to complain, attitude/service is good and price reasonable.

Sorry guys,

i'm a bit new to these. For solar films right, is it the same darkness if i look through it from whichever side?

Because from what i saw from my friend's car, from the exterior, the film is totally black in colour,i presumed it has a vv low VLT. But from the inside of the car, I looked out, it's quite clear. Totally opposite from what i saw from the outside when i wanted to look in.

so, the question is, does it look the same if i were to look through the film from whichever side?

Hope you guys understand what i'm trying to say.

its the reflection. try looking into the car on a bright sunny day and on a dark cloudy day. chances are you will see more of the interior on a cloudy day.

so, there's no difference between the solar films use for home windows and the ones for vehicles, am i right to say that?

both sides of the solar film should have the same VLT, am i right?

i feel so noob asking this, but i've no choice. cause i'm a noob.

please pardon me.

thanks for the advices

As Benson is my uncle and has cease to operate Tint Master for health reasons I would like to thank everyone for their support, if you are looking for Solar FIlms, you can come to Absolute Tint.
