Howk Clutched October 20, 2008 Share October 20, 2008 Hi I am safely back. Thanks for all the tips from you guys making my first trip up north a very good one. Btw the Fenix Inn I was staying in, I let them valet park my car, was abit worried to pass my car key to them but well everything is fine when I got my car back the next day. Maybe you guys can consider this budget hotel the next time, my stay in a family room for 3 cost me MR138 only while a double room would be less then MR100 and the room are good and I had no complain at all but I really wish if they had cable tv then I will not missed the very interesting Liverpool vs Wigan match. Half a year back while crawling in the perennial massive jam near the JB customs, I was surreptitiously sandwiched by 2 blue Malaysia express buses closing in from both left and right. I came to a full halt when the bus on the left forced me until my right fender was mere centimeters from the right-side bus, but the left-side bus continued its convergent path and it was just about to sideswap my left front fender and bumper. I couldn't reverse either because the car behind was almost latching onto my bumper. I braced myself for the inevitable crunch, and I stopped breathing. And then crunch, it hit my left wing mirror, pushing it to fold to the front, narrowly missing my front bumper by a hair's breadth, and continued on its way nonchalantly.
