Nutty 4th Gear October 13, 2008 Share October 13, 2008 I guess this isn't new, but in times of recession, there may be more and more people coming out with similar antics. My uncle was about to drive off his lot when he heard a few hand-inflicted bangs on his boot. When he came out of the car to check what happened, a burly guy approached him and insisted his car banged his body. He claimed that he's injured and demanded compensation. There is no way that my uncle banged into him as he was driving forward instead of reversing. A large commotion started and that burly guy was joined by two more guys demanding compensation. A fight almost broke out and my auntie had to separate the guys by using her body as a shield for my uncle. Before a scuffle started, she pulled by uncle into the car and drove off amist the yelling of those guys. Manutd Clutched October 13, 2008 Share October 13, 2008 Jurong West used to have this one Chinese man aged in late 30s. He will wait at carparks and when u pass him, u will feel ur rear tyre will an object. When u stop, he will start making a scene claiming that ur car had ran over his foot. Hopefully not the same guy as on one occasion mata came and he was arrested. Maybe trying to cheat.

Asd78 Clutched October 13, 2008 Share October 13, 2008 The only scam I heard my fren got into was chinese nationals(mostly females) asking 先生要不要 whereby he will be cheated of amounts ranging from $80-$150 and soul sapping energy. Ah huat, if you are reading this, don't get cheated anymore.
Nutty 4th Gear October 13, 2008 Author Share October 13, 2008 (edited) One non-car related car I heard was near Jurong East back in the early 90s. A sweet young thing will forcibly pull your hands, cup it over her breast and shout "Molest!" Seconds later, her accomplice guy friend will come over and extort money to settle the matter.
