Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear December 18, 2010 Share December 18, 2010 Agreed. But prolong driving will somehow or rather caused drowsiness I believe. I trust that you agree with me partly, if not fully bro! Thanks for your advise! Shall keep him medically updated! Besides the driver being healthy enough to drive. The next thing is the car itself. Many/most Japanese cars are for sending kids to school and doing morning market runs. If you drive that model over an hour, pity the driver for his backache. Many/most continental/American cars are designed for long distance driving trips. Adjustable lumbar support, elevation adjustable driver seat, left leg rest, are among the basic features to help the driver drive long distance trips. Check if the driver driving the right car for the longer distance trips (some drivers can tolerate fatigue better than others with the same car). Many thanks for your effort to help the driver (I am musing to trade-in for continental car to drive long distance trips) ↡ Advertisement

Carson Neutral Newbie January 9, 2011 Share January 9, 2011 It hasn't been serviced for a while, it would be wise to bring the car in for a check-up. Another thing to look out for might be the condition of the various rubber hoses - if they are soft and swollen, they should be changed before they burst. ↡ Advertisement
