Port Dickson for deepavali

went there few mths back. quite a dead town there....... but lookin it another way, quite tranquil n ve peace of mind there

Like what Hermit said...there will not be lack of s'porean.....but many will not look after their fellow countryman.

 

My family and I will be heading to KL around that time...haven't decided on the dates yet.

We've just come back from PD. It is a place for beach, sea and sun. Nothing else. We went up from the normal road. When we reached Batu Pahut, cannot take it already because the road have many lorries and slow vehicles. so, switch back to NSHW. Nothing to do in PD, just some swimming.

 

Before we headed home, we went to Mid-Valley. First time there, so . do some shopping until 5+ pm then headed home. We reached JB at 8plus. Last night, the jam to JB custom took about 1 hour, so reach SG custom at 9+. Jammed inside SG custom for another 1hr. . Reached home 10+. Dead tired after 5 hrs driving.

There are many resort hotels in PD, which one is recommended ?

 

Planning to make a trip there this coming school holiday. My kids will probably enjoy the sand and water.

 

These place of interest are posted on Port Dickson sites, are they worth visiting ? I guess these are mainly for the kids.

 

.... Ostrich farm, Town Square, Blue Lagoon, Rabbits Park, Eagle farm, Military Museum, old fort ..

We didn't visit the attractions.

Usually, I get reviews from tripadvisor or virutaltourist. Quite genuine.

 

Overall, I would prefer east coast than west cost. Cleaner water.

I also just return from KL. Spend 5 days there.....basically a trip for my wife to enjoy herself in spa and saloons....before out next child arrives in early dec. Had a great time for my daughter and me too....did lots of reading at bookshops, shopping, swimming, eating, etc..
