I used to own a Ford Mondeo also (2nd generation). That car had various issues cropping up near the end of its warranty period of 5 years. By the 7th year, had to trade in for another. Despite the reliability issues, I loved the Mondeo. I love its handling and its look.

 

If the price is right, factoring that I may not be able to drive it for a full 10 years, I would not hesitate to get another Mondeo.

 

Mondeos doors does not seem to have any internal bracing. A contact with a door from another car will cause a ding. I notice the same for the 3rd Gen mondeo.

That's a mk4, but this particular car was priced way below market rate even before the mas curb. Wonder why?

Better give it a good check and also check with RM if you are thinking of buying that car.

Can't think of anything bad.

Trade in my mk3 for an 08 mk4 six months ago and have not spent a cent on repairs or replacement part.

Good styling, spacious, excellent handling, adequate power, and a fun auto/manual gearbox.
