Rochelle Neutral Newbie October 28, 2008 Share October 28, 2008 Hi Sexys, Been looking up info online about the dream of all 4-eyed folks(includng myself). hehs, LASIK EYE SURGERY! This procedure not just enchances the personal outlook of oneself, as well as the convenience that are put through in our daily life, anyone here has gone through this life changing procedure, i would love to have your feedback. Eg. After the surgery how you feel? The service that the eye specialists provide, etc etc. As i am embarking on this journey, so am feeling nervous, and i have yet to pick the executor of this very very very very important job, so your recommendation of doctors will be very very very very extremely helpful to me as well! Thanks for all your responses in advance, xoxo. Love, Rochelle. Idwish Clutched October 28, 2008 Share October 28, 2008 If I want to correct Presbyopia (Lao Hua Yan), myopia and and astigmatism, do I have to pay more for the lasik? Or there is one that fix all?
Limhm Neutral Newbie October 28, 2008 Share October 28, 2008 The lasik is supposed to fix all...all in one. No nid to pay more cos it depends on ur cornea only. If norm condition, normal lasik will do. If got thin cornea, ruby cornea, nid epi-lasik, more ex. So if u had norm cornea, with super high myopia, still same price...u earn lor. hehe

Rochelle Neutral Newbie October 28, 2008 Author Share October 28, 2008 hehe, anyone go to the SHINAGAWA? How come the procedure for SNEC so troublesome one?
Headshok 1st Gear October 28, 2008 Share October 28, 2008 heya. i did my lasik at SNEC under Dr Wee Tze Ling back in 2004. back then he was the normal consultant there. back then think the procedure was different i had to go for a few checkups, and for me, the check up was more "painful" than the actual surgery itself cos they will press ur face against some machine to scan ur eyes. the actual day itself, they asked if i wanted a valium to calm myself down, i took it. the surgery itself, u can see anything. ur eye will be taped open( most uncomfortable part), but they will constantly put eye drops. then all u will see is something above ur eye ( u use ur thumb and index finger to form a ring and put it on ur eye). thats wat u see. then very fast, u hear some like " snip snip", then they will lift up the flap. all this is done DAM fast.. once the flap is lifted up, u cant see SH1T.. really all totally blur. then they will off the light and the lasering is done. and u will smell the famous " chao ta" smell. mine was done 1 day apart. now i tink is 2 eyes in 1 day. but trust me, its like being reborn again. the week after the surgery quite sh1t cos u gotta wear goggles to sleep and cant rub ur eye and stuff.. one 'side' effect i get once in a while is that i dream that my eyes go back to being screwed up, and i wake up in the middle of the nite and look ard to see whether i can see or not.. hahaha

Headshok 1st Gear October 28, 2008 Share October 28, 2008 if u can spare the time and cash, go for it man... worth every single cent. its like being reborn again, when u blink ur eyes and u can see again.. only " down" point i can think of is that IF you do wood or work ard machinery or things, u need to wear safety specs.
