Hello!

So, what's the HIGHEST SPEED you've ever driven using the car you OWN?

I'd be glad if someone can share his car rated top-speed vs the actual highest speed ever achieved on his car?

My car's a Hafei Minz and its top speed is 110km/h. Over the weekend, I took a couple of friends to Johor for a yummy dinner. I travelled on the Malaysian highway for the first time via the 2nd Link. Guess what, I pushed my Minz to close to 130 km/h (can't read that clearly due to the car shaking)! Phew! It was such an astounding feat for me! But I need quite a long stretch of highway to do that and I dare not push it any further as the car got rather shaky.

Please share your experience.

Thanks.

Must see what car u drive and at what speed. A BMW 7-series driven @ 200km/hr can still be stable. But same speed on a Jazz, guarrtnee yr balls strink to marble. [laugh][laugh][laugh]

I ever did 185km/hr for a few seconds on a stock cs3 Lancer on NSH. U have to grab the steering wheel like holding a bar for chin up, cos the car is practically floating!!!!! That time my balls drop onto the floor mat liao. [dead][laugh]

My current 2.4ltr Sonata have tried numberous times @ 140-150km/hr in spore. Still quite stable. [lipsrsealed] Should be able to go 200km/hr on NSH. Will try it soon. [:p]

Hahaha! You are right! It's cheap thrill but I just gotta try it. My passengers faces were pale. They keep asking me to slow down. Hahaha! I just wanna know what my car can do. And I guess 130 km/h is the limit! [:/] Going +20 km/h above the rated speed is quite dangerous! Hahaha!

did 228 on NSH on my previous ride - CL7A with speed limiter removed.

at that speed car is still stable.

Just be careful when going high speed. Know your car's limit. If it starts shaking or gets "floaty", then I'd suggest you do not do that anymore (for your own safety).

If your car has over steer, do not swerve o do sudden lane switches when at high speed.

As for my experience on high speed..... one sentence.... b@lls shrink and cannot hold more than 5 secs.

Yeah... Very true... That's why I'd like to know if anyone has driven ABOVE their car's rated speed! I have! Hahahaha! And like what you said, it's like "grabbing the steering wheel like holding a bar for chin up, cos the car is practically floating". [laugh]

Basket man... I should have increased the poll options up to 300 km/h! I didn't know Singaporeans also can do like those Japanese highway racings runs!

Cleared Meter! LOL! This is the first time I hear this term... and it's darn funny! Cheers bro! [thumbsup]

pst... how much is the Gen2 meter bro?

Really this is the 1st time u hear this term? [confused] Hmm, guess only used more often for bikers then. [:p]

Anyway, my meter is 200km/h la. 1.3L niah... The needle reached 200km/h at 5,500rpm. Revved further to 6000rpm but needle already stuck at that position, cannot move further. [smallcry] I nid RSM!!!
