Brother, like that everyone drive China cars is good enough. China cars also can hit 90 hor?

I don't get it? what has this got to do with a China car? You don't even need a TC or loud exhaust for most small car to achieve 150Km/h.

Brother, your point is that there is no need because there is no track. So, from Pt A to Pt B, china car enough lei, can hit 90 liao. All can hit 150, how fast you hit 150 is another matter altogether.

For NA car, a little back pressure is good. For Turbo Cars, no back pressure is the best. If I change out my exhaust, I can gain another 30whp easily, get the difference?

1)For ego: loud exhausts sound more macho

2)For more power:a less restrictive exhaust will unlock more engine power..but that means reducing on the sound absorbtion properties to achieve it.

Loud noise equals to macho? [laugh]

Yup, TCed cars are noiser, even when stationary.

Just stop beside a stationary stock WRX at traffic light.

You can almost tell whether a car is heavily TCed just by closing in, passing by it or when it is in stationery position at junction or traffic lights. Do you think the loud noise produced is annoying and a form of pollution to the roads?

Some also commented that stock Japanese TCed cars produced the most noise compared with their Conti competitors.

In the pursuit of power, do you also give in to loud noise and forget about comfort. I'm of the view that a fast street car need not be a noisy car.

I mean no need for loud and noisy aftermarket exhaust if the car is fast enough. If want the loudness to stay macho, that I can understand [laugh].

my ex bike used to have a exos that can cover harley exos sound, but thats definately not becoz of ego

Sorry to Harley fans, IMHO, Harley is another noise pollution. Best to be driven on vast unblocked roads away from cities.

Don't base your impression on a WRX which may have a ricer exhaust. Go test drive a TC-ed BMW, VW, Peugoet in the showroom and see if its noisy.

I've seen some BMW owners go into a workshop and complain that the exhaust is too quiet...then ask the garage to install something much louder... [thumbsdown]
