Where to sell off used stock rims ?

u can try classified to sell to fellow bros who are interested in getting second hand rims...

 

possibly u can try to attached a photo or two..

I sold my old ride's tyres & rims to Darren (thk his number is 93223322) which he operates a used rims/tyres shop around Toh Guan Centre. Not much $$ but just to get rid of the item too....

 

PS - I'm not associate with him at all, just providing some info which TS needed.

i used 4 pcs of 16" 1-yr-old falken tyres + 4-yrs-old SSW rims to exchange 14" 'going bald' tyres+rims with extra $100 bucks back to me. This fits into the old car for scraping instead of leaving it in my storeroom for nothing.

Selling to shops may not get good price. I trade in with the tyre shop from which i bought rims. Rims are heavy and I don't have space to store them.. So normally let go at dirt cheap prices. No choice.

 

As you have the spare rims now, try selling in forums.

 

You may get a better response with pictures of the rims.

oh. I mis-read.. tot it was SSR rim that was traded in for 4 smaller rim and $100.. if it's ssw.. maybe it's not such a bad deal afterall

I do mis read sometime too...no worries.

 

If you ask me....I can't be bothered lor....the time spend to swap the rims and I got 100 bucks...I might as well just sell it with the car.

 

If it was me...I rather give it to a friend (if my rims can't fetch a good price). Make a friend happy better than make a dealer happy. I am sure he will plonk it off to the next bloke for 500 above.

Ya.. if the price is right, then it's ok to sell off..

 

but market for 2nd hand rim are not really that fantastic unless the rim are good.. but then, most people here are keen on replica.. and those that appreciate rims, will get new ones
