Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax

If comparing dg and meguire with kit wax. They are expensive.

in between the week if i go jaybee for petrol den will send to my trusted car wash..

I just bought a bottle after being inspired by fellow forumers doing their own detailing

 

 

is this good enough

 

it cost me $30+ for a bottle and comes with a sponge inside

Based on my limited experience with the product I comment.

 

Whatever you do, never let the wax get onto non-paint areas, like those black trims around the windows etc. It's impossible to remove once the wax got there and cured. Also please wax in a well lit areas, so that you can eyeball the results and make sure all wax residue is buffed off. Once the residue dries, it's impossible to remove and have to send to the pros for polishing.

 

I think it's one way over-rated / over-priced product.

To be fair, you did top the NXT on the jag with souveran.

 

 

my personal opinion if you want shiny bling car:

roughly

80% of effect from the prep (polishing)

10% of effect from the glaze or AIO

10% of effect from the wax

NXT so far is better than most I have tried that is with regards to powder residual

 

including autoglm which kena use a lot of strength and that was when I was much younger

 

 

will keep use NXT until a better recommendation

Based on one or two bad experience with it is enough. It's my own opinion about the product and it's my every right to express it here. If you have a problem with my opinion, just ignore my post.

 

I don't think anybody need to have years of terrible experience in order to be qualified to say a product is not good.

My issue with the product isn't with the results. It's with the ease of use. It's a real pain to buff off the wax residue.

it maybe you applied too much wax

 

 

nxt is already 1 of the easiest product to use

 

of all the wax product i used b4 starting from the easiest

 

1. pinnacle Souveran

2. NXT 2.0/1.0

3. Liquid Glass

4. Turtle wax platinum

5. 3M perfect it car wax

Because I was waxing in the dark MSCP, so missed several spots and the residue eventually cured. Also compared to Zymol - my default brand up till now, the wax takes a lot more effort to buff off. Zymol is almost effortless, you can literally just brush off the wax residue.

 

I'm waiting for my DG to be delivered anyway. Really look forward to this highly rated product.
