Yeah we can make some comparisons between used Kumhos on my brick vs your brand new ones too....things like noise, grip and traction limits (roughly) [;)]

Wear is reasonable at 280, compared to my eagle F1s with 220 it's doing fine.

I have a tad more shoulder wear on my kumhos though [sly]

U'll have to know where to find, I searched hard to get a set of ROHs for my brick also mah.

Try YHI directly, they should bring in whatever U request.

Yeah, whats bad about piper cross? [blush]

Nothing bad abt PiperCross but it's more popular for it's cone filter system. I've always maintained that a cone, installed improperly, will kill the low end. So to me, a 1.6L engined car needs lotsa torque and any mods that reduces the low end is a no-no. The best is just to add in a replacement filter. Safer bet. I think a Pipercross replacement filter would be more ex than a similar K&N product, hence my K&N recommendation. [:)]

Anyway, does anyone know what material the PiperCross filter element is made of? Other than cotton gauze, all other type of elements are not washable/reusable.
