Hi [:)]

I noticed that my front rims get dirty....extremely black as compared to the back rims which are still clean after driving for a few days. imagine spend so much time cleaning and two days later, the rims again all dirty.

Is this condition normal???? [crazy] Didn't notice this problem when I was driving old car. Any way of preventing this ....Hope someone can help [:)]

The front rims get dirty faster as a result of brake dust. I had to clean my wheels practically every 2 days! But ever since i changed my brake pads(mintex) no more dust for me! [:)]

Is yours a conti car? Its more common for conti cars, probably due to the type of brake pads they use [crazy]

Very normal as the front bears most of the force, thus more brake dust wear. If u want dustless pads, ask teh guru Brick, he can change into Mintex for u.

See ya

Oic you have a focus too? [:)]

I got them at $65, Oinkened purchased it for me. The stock Focus pads are really a 'dust' bin! I have not cleaned my wheels for a week+ now and still no dust. [cool]

Oops forgot to add, you can get it at Hoover. Desker road.

The 'free' is the place only my friend. It is still a do-it urself job. Anyway, if u want to keep ur Rims cleaner longer, u shld try the RIMS cleaner fm PML, alkali based. A few of ur fourmmers are using it here. [laugh]

not true for my case. Mintex seems giving out more brake dust then my original toyota brake pads. [:(] Nevertheless less fade and good prolong braking power.
