Mdfaz 2nd Gear December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 they talk like the oil cartels already. whenever increase, blame it on oil prices. now that oil prices are down, cannot reduce bus fares as it is connected to other things than oil.
Chrispie 5th Gear December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 i hope lemon, marlboro, cant sing and taman all come to joolong grc. so i can vote them out!! wah.. your power alone can vote them out ah.. your family of 12,000 strength all stay in same GRC? Chrispie 5th Gear December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 They got good reasons ok.. They actually peg transport prices NOT TO OIL, but to wage level and inflation rate.. good siah.. Maybe nx time can peg to STI, or even the OMBPI. (Overall Ministers' Blood Pressure Index)

Yaloryalor 5th Gear December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 Talk so much like arrogance. Now it is 7 per cent; you want your public transport to be free, you want your GST to go up to 8.5 per cent?

Ahwhye 6th Gear December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 rules of the game : Head they win, tail we lose.......and of course rules they come out one hor.... how could the people there listen to his answers and not have a riot! increase in fares...attribute to high oil prices. oil prices drop...nothing to do with fares! our politicians are world class man! can lie without any expression!
Mcfguy 1st Gear December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 Is there a reason why GST is mentioned? mental calculation of 1.5% on the spot? or something imminent being hinted?

Drive_carcar Clutched December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 Well folks.... whine and bitch so much also no use. Take action and vote wisely. This is nothing more than roti-prata politics. Oil price rise - increase fares. Oil price drops says cost of public transport nothing much to to with oil price, so cannot revise downwards. No matter what will try to enrich the cofers at the expense of the peasants. I hope the 66.6% of the population wake the f**k up!
Asd78 Clutched December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 Not the 66.6% fault actually...I didn't have a chance to vote! You can only blame those who voted for them...not the whole 66.6%
Drive_carcar Clutched December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 Not really targetting people like you specifically. 66.6% is just a tag. Do use your vote wisely when you get the chance. Frankly for me, the public transport cost is not of my f**king busness anyway, because I don't use it anymore. But I do feel the roti-prata about it is quite rediculous. I think this minister is making himself out to be one of the most unpopular person in our political scene. It's time for him to stop being so "intellectual" and start seeing things from the eyes of the commoners.
