Hiphiphoray 6th Gear December 30, 2008 Share December 30, 2008 (edited) Halo Halo all bros & sis. Im planning to do a whole car spraying for my 3 yr 2 mth old Sonata. I suppose it will take about 1 week and 2-3k budget ? Would appreciate some feedback on recent experience with a good workshop that can do this. Im looking at 047 / crystal II pearl 3C, aka lexus pearl white(with a tint of blueish). hehehe. i know it will be ex, but i think my reliable car deserve to look good. It has serve my family well. Go onemotoring.com to see... i saw one shop doing spraying also... mmm dun know if we all do together can negotiate a better price? mine also black Civic ... 3.8yrs old... He quote 1.6k / Pearl White / 10 days job for my Taxi. But he is fully book for now. Can only take in my car after CNY. In the meantime, im trying to get custom made Emblems for the front and back. Just got a quote from a US based company. hehehe.......Will look nice on a newly painted car. I just order 6pcs. Fully Chromed with family name intials and also 2pcs of the batman symbol. We can make the letters float in the middle like the Hyundai emblem does, or engrave them into a solid piece. We can do full chrome plated for $95 for the first one, and $30 for each additional one. We also have a new material, it's a shiny brushed chrome over a black substrate, and that costs $40 for the first, and $15 each for additional emblems. I have a ttached an image of the new material. Bro, this might come abit late, are you positive the code color is 047 and not 074? I did mine recently and was told it was 074, you might also want to note different brand give your different tone of the 074, Nippon was whiter and compared with another brand which was more blue (Can't remember the name, mine is nippon). Mine was done whiter as I did not spray the internal door side (budget hehe, kind of regret), overall the pearl is really nice.
