Toyota and Lexus owner may need to noe this. BTW Reiz is the Mark X. The last time I heard of a recall on the G9, it took BM 2 year later to ask me to get it done.

looks like it will not affect Singapore Crowns and Mark X since they are for China mkt.... that is unless some PI imported the Mark Xs from China

Difficult to say. Sometime it is not location but could be a design flaws. So every manufacturing location will be making the same parts or getting the same parts.

 

When I heard my Corola G9 having recall, I think it also mentioned Sin not affected. But 2 years later I got letter from BM, need to go their servicing for dimmer switch changed, that was exactly what I heard over the radio!

I wonder why toyota took so long to do a recall. the article says 2004 lexus wor ! so much for reliability

That is depending on the feedback. Sometime, the fault never surface until years later or there is no feedback from owners or dealers It is stated for Luxus 2004 to 2006, before and after this period is either a different system or version, hence not affected.
