The Korean brands have been enjoying good sales as their car prices have tracked the Korean Won depreciation, making them rather attractive. Borneo Motors also bought full page ads announcing price cuts for their cars which brought lots of people to the showroom during the weekend.

all the major distributors will bring in cars in bulk, from there, they can reduce their car prices (or they are suppose to pass on the savings to the customers). they earn by selling more cars...

or they can tell you how much the omv is, until you check your vehicle's log card for the amount they declare for the car's omv...

There is still another one in 2 weeks time. So nothing to worry

I think Open Cat will be strong, potential huge profit if they hoard it till April, where the expected BIG cut in quota will happen.

So technically the supply of Open Cat on the market may reduce these two months, thereby causing a gentle increase in prices in A & B.

Its today or never to get the $1 COE for myself!

actually mazda makes lots of progress imo in the last 5yrs comparing to toyota of which I feel their offering is getting more and more stale as the years go..if you ask me to pick between a Camry and a Mazda 6, I will still go for the latter despite almost no price difference..

I agree that Toyota designers are sleeping on the job. Mazda looks so much better in terms of styling and design. The only problem is the FC for mazda.

Correct me if i am worng, i heard that the new altis FC also not fantastic.

That's sad, isn't it, if people were to rule out certain make just becos of FC?? There's always a trade off in life...true, mazda 3 may not be tat FC efficient compared to similar vehicles of toyota, but in terms of build quality, it is much better...more sturdily built and more heavy, hence FC naturally poorer..

You see Singaporean mentality especially when buying big items such as a car will want a Ai Pee Ai Chi Ai Toa Lup Ni [laugh]. Good Built quality, better design but also good FC. But if FC of Mazda say around 12km/l compared to Toyota Altis say 13km/l than what the heck is the comparision.

To me, FC is never the only concern. [rolleyes]

FC is important if you really travel a lot. Many cars in SGP can not even hit 20k km a year, why worry?
