Ichibawa 5th Gear June 23, 2009 Share June 23, 2009 Stock is hydraulic. The yellow Bilstein is monotube. Look at the shaft diameter, obviously can last longer & better. Bigger piston rods doesn't mean that it will last longer. It only indicates that it has higher damping force and more heavy duty compared to the one above it. It will still leak if the oil seal is lousy and the surface of the rod is not polished adequately. ↡ Advertisement
