Phantom76 Neutral Newbie February 5, 2009 Share February 5, 2009 my personal experience. 28 Jan left KL for Singapore at about 8pm. When we reach Johor state. about 10pm+. A proton black in color with a grey rear right door. started to tailgate me. so close that his entire bonnet cannot be seen, only see the driver and three passengers in the car. All male. I signalled left and filtered left to let him pass. But he followed me to the left. I filtered right and sped up to loose him but he kept on coming. finally i saw a PLUS RONDA, aux police on the emergency lane, i filtered to the emergency lane and stopped in front of the PLUS truck, the proton sped off. waited awhile then i continue at a slower pace. stopped a machap for toilet break. when we left machap, the same proton was waiting few kms after machap r&r. the same thing started again. so instead of speeding up. i slowed down to snails pace in front of an express bus. the proton over took me an went ahead. i kept a distance behind the proton, always maintaining sight on the proton. he continued on NSHW and also on 2nd Link. Once on second link, I sped up as fast as possible. knowing that this is a deserted part of the highway. I was hoping for the usual police block on second link, but there was none. Luckily the proton gave up chase after the perling exit.

Blackyv Turbocharged February 5, 2009 Share February 5, 2009 nope.. can travel at night, just make sure u speed all the way. dont travel at those "stick to speed limit" kind of speed.. anyone with right mind wont dare to side sweep u at that kind of speed. all they can do is follow u and wait for opportunity and if u just speed all the way, they will give up after certain stretch imo... Genie47 1st Gear February 5, 2009 Share February 5, 2009 Smart. You have rehearsed everything in your head and that is why you are prepared. If only majority of the drivers are as smart as you.

Papbest Neutral Newbie February 5, 2009 Share February 5, 2009 All happened at night. This is getting dangerous. Wondered what modded car they used. aiyah, if u want to go JB, getting chased in major or small highways are part and parcels of driving a singapore car there. I got chased in NS highway once at 8pm bloody by one slow KIA JB plated somemore. Honked for me to stop but I sped on to 180km/hour in less than 10 seconds while his 3rd rated car is still trying pump to reach 100km/hour. Moral of story, want to drive car up north, better drive a NON-flashy but "decent" car with good acceleration. A 1.8l and above should be enough. My friends' 1.6 M lancer got outran by a modded proton once and crashed into the railing.. lucky he got unbreakable glass.. robbers smashed 10 times still no break.. then auto f off. ↡ Advertisement
