Teriyaki Neutral Newbie February 21, 2009 Share February 21, 2009 I watched other video clips... Realised that their cars are all very fast... Trucks can go up to 120km/h. Watched another, bmw 525 travelling at 220km/h in tunnel. amazing.
Ronnchee Clutched February 21, 2009 Share February 21, 2009 Will this happen in our CTE, KPE ? Scary man.
Toledo 1st Gear February 21, 2009 Share February 21, 2009 go watch the movie daylight starring sylvester stallone. tunnel incident on BIG scale.
Mits_jc 5th Gear February 21, 2009 Share February 21, 2009 That's why in the KPE, 70kmh speed limit is strictly enforced with all the cameras. As for the CTE, now and then you still get racers having their own brand of fun tearing down the tunnel.
Ronnchee Clutched February 21, 2009 Share February 21, 2009 go watch the movie daylight starring sylvester stallone. tunnel incident on BIG scale. The movie Daylight, double or triple disasters, chained car accident, chemical spilled, sea water dripping into the the tunnel ... Hope this will never happen in KPE. It might not necessary due to the road accident, but due to design / material / calculation fault, if you know what I mean.
Bigoceanm Neutral Newbie February 21, 2009 Share February 21, 2009 Will this happen in our CTE, KPE ? Scary man. y b bothered to know will this happen in CTE n KPE? this type of accident can happen on any roads and this is a speeding accident!!! heavy vehicles drivers, please be kind enough to observe your speed limit to save lives. At certain angle, it is impossible to see the number at all. These are the jokers who dare to challenge the speed camera, and waiting for disaster to happen. Ronnchee Clutched February 21, 2009 Share February 21, 2009 IMO, most accidents, if not all, can be avoided, if one knows the limit.
Mits_jc 5th Gear February 21, 2009 Share February 21, 2009 How does this rainbow car plate thing work? Like those privacy screen protector on laptops? If you watched Mythbusters, I believed they proved in all situations, you can't out smart speed cameras, unless you use a fake licence plate or go without one. I agree with you but apparently, there's still idiotic ppl speed in KPE. I once drove in KPE and heard a loud exhaust because the bugger is speeding until before the speed camera then after that the car zoom off fast. Gunzy 4th Gear February 21, 2009 Share February 21, 2009 Of coz it will happen anywhere, personally i also got hit by a lorry that couldn't brake at CTE exiting upper serangoon a couple of years ago resulting in chain collision (5vehicles) As usual, that exit is always jammed pack and we were all stationary, waiting to move bit by bit, I happen to be the last car and while checking my rear view mirror , i saw a green lorry coming behind me pretty fast and it just rammed into my car..... luckily it's peak hour else i dunno how serious it would get... If can only run 4 trips per day with that kind of "restricted" speed to different locations, so be it. Squeeze 1 more trip to get eztra money but may not be able to use it, is it worth it?
