any brother can help me - which engine oil in our singapore market offer the most smooth and quieter performance.

 

was thinking of mobil1 (0w-40) - any feedback

 

(This is because the oil used by the authorised dealer is simply craps...so thinking of changing)

and also Amsoil, Motul.

Whatever it is dont use chepo oil... for those ppl who thinks that there is some conspiracy going on and all oil are the same grade and should cost 29.90 depending which Giant superstore you go to...

If u still insists on the cheapskate oil then might as well go for Knife brand cooking oil

I would recommend Motul as its one of the smoothest I have tried so far. But its pricey.

X-Rev oil is not cheap oil, cost $95/ 4L and $24/1L. Personally use before this oil, not bad & smooth.

Either you can get from them or u can order online and they send to u FOC for delivery.

Motul has one of the best technology in synthetic oil. Its using double ester technology. They have lubes for bikes as well. The one I am taking about is for cars. $55 for 2 litres.

try OWS.. i think OWS is better than Xrev..

 

quieter and smoother...

 

both are available at Stamford.. should come with tire rotation and balancing if i'm not wrong..

I seem to hear somewhere that OWS is not a real lube manufacturer but a repackaged OEM brand

Rated #1 by me will be this brand called KIC..... good shiet!

 

Cheap bang for the buck will be Penzoil.

if a repackage oil is better than a REAL oil..

 

what difference does it make... OEm is still oil made by Oil company..

 

as long as it performs better than the other.. i dun see the difference in such comparisons...

 

i've friends working in lubs company.. most lub products are made by Oil companies anyway... it's just the packaging and addictives that makes the difference...

so far, castrol oil is the most value for money oil that I have came across... both castrol edge (Fully Syn) and castrol megnatec (semi syn) are affordable and the performance is satisfying...
