Looks like the triplets are multiplying fast! [laugh]

Dark violet mica metallic

This one will be a stunner!

Unfortunately, I'm a lazy driver so can't have dark colour cars or they will look beige in no time ....

Nice!

Still, let's continue to keep this thread active .... potential triplets owners are also likely to be here.

Z do you know where the aircon filter is located? At glove? The filter u have model no?

Perhaps I should chime in ...

Typically, cabin air filters (or aircon filters) are loacted behind the glove box. Here's a pic of where I think it is located in the triplets:

18944482645_616ac6a010_c.jpgThe filter should be inside the centre white slim rectangle tray.

There's a Youtube video showing how to remove the glove box but can't find it now. Anyway, it's quite straightforward. Based on memory:

- open glove box

- on the left side of the box, remove a catch

- same left side, disconnect the straight arm from the glove box

- slide the glove box out of the hinges at the bottom and it will come out free

- done. Nothing to do on the right side. The action is on the left.

The video is not clear, but it looks like a Denso filter. Not surprising since its Japanese. If you're buying one yourself, try to find one that will filter down to 2.5micron, with carbon and baking soda embedded in the media.

Have fun!

Looks like i'm the only one who take black coloL [:p]

Looking at the Esquires PIs have brought in, black seems to be the most common. So you should have great company soon [laugh]

But regardless of colour, race, language or religion, we are with you as one united triplet family so as to achieve happiness, reliability and joy for our family wheels. [lipsrsealed] (And progress for our nation, of course!)

Congrats and enjoy! I have to wait 3 months more .....

I'm working to translate important sections of the owners manual using Google translate. Quite tedious but targeting to get this done n the next cpuple of months maybe.

Of course!

Early discovery: the Esquire (not sure about the Noah and Voxy since its an Esquire manual) has a black box! Not sure if this is standard or an option. Here's a raw translated extract:

"The recording of the vehicle data

The car, the computer that records and data related to the control and operation of the vehicle

Ter are more equipped, I will mainly record data such as the following.

Engine rotation speed

Axel operating conditions

Brake operating conditions

- Vehicle speed

Shift position

Data items to be recorded will vary depending on the grade optional equipment. I

Contact, the computer does not record audio and video, such as a conversation."

The manual then go into more details about what it records, how the data is used etc. There is also a separate "event data recorder" that will only record when sensors detect a collision. It will record speed, state of the airbags, pedal positions etc.

I don't think it is standard - probably an option. or maybe something that is there but not activated.

Photos please !! We probably will need to check with U on the configuration when we got our cars hehe...

Yes... NPNT... this thread lacks photos!

Ok bro looks like sam got the info & a video too. Thanks bro sam

Btw..me need to change this soon have not booked my 20k service am actaully trying to get my PI to change my wty workshop as thw cutrent one does not use toyota originals...honestly am thinking to go back to my old workshop i used for 5 years...toyota's tend to be simple reliable machines..change oil..filters etc.at my old workshop i pay labor n bring the oil, filters etc. So far worked wonders as my mechanic was honest n reliable.

I know the electronics can stuff up..but looking at snapples experience looks like he has to go back to borneo anyway.or wait for wty workshop to get help for the software.

Think unless there is a official recall...am pretty sure my wty workshop will say wear n tear

So will decide next course of action over the weekend
