Carbon82 Moderator May 14, 2009 Author Share May 14, 2009 Not fast, it is typical for a Japanese car with an average of 5 years cycle life. The 2nd generation Stream was launched in Japan on 13/07/2006, which is about 3 years ago. ↡ Advertisement

Ahyoo2002 2nd Gear May 15, 2009 Share May 15, 2009 Maybe paving path for facelift improvement? Just like Honda always like to keep LED taillight and sportier bumper for facelift... ;) Maybe, Freed need a better finishing.
Ahyoo2002 2nd Gear May 15, 2009 Share May 15, 2009 (edited) Want to hear from a M5 onwer, how do you find access to the 3rd row for M5 and Freed? I have tried once on M5 and Freed and find the later a little better, probably due to different in head room clearance. Can not really recall for the Freed, but for Mazda 5, if middle seat is removed, it is still slightly narrow for adult to move to the 3rd row due to the way the backrest of the middle seat was fold in between 2 seats. Emils 2nd Gear May 15, 2009 Share May 15, 2009 Can't really tell the difference between this facelift model and the current one... If any, thought the current one looks nicer!!
Mage Clutched May 15, 2009 Share May 15, 2009 Picture speak a thousand words... Interior Dimension of Freed For your info and comparison, interior height of Stream is 1,250mm, while that of the one size larger Toyota Estima is 1,255mm. Furthermore, Freed has captain seat on 2nd row, which create a small clearance for walk through to 3rd row... ;) i see... i think u meant "move effortlessly" la.. that i agree. "Walk effortlessly" is still a bit too far fetched for me. Anyway, Freed seems nice overall.

Carbon82 Moderator May 18, 2009 Author Share May 18, 2009 Can not really recall for the Freed, but for Mazda 5, if middle seat is removed, it is still slightly narrow for adult to move to the 3rd row due to the way the backrest of the middle seat was fold in between 2 seats. Yah, the positioning of the backrest is relatively lager and those with bigger tummy will have problem... and the head room between the 2nd and last row of M5 is also not high enough, from what I can recall. But, it does have a wider 2nd row (than Freed).
