Vblues Neutral Newbie May 20, 2009 Share May 20, 2009 Yap, never believe those figures and numbers. As a reference may be. I'm only getting 9~10Km/L for my FD2 at best. Seldom get the chance to depress the pedal to the fullest some more but I used alot of S-mode though . Regards, My best ever FC for my FD2 is 12+km/l. But then for that I travel like 80% highway. MadDog70 2nd Gear May 21, 2009 Share May 21, 2009 Went to IMM just now to check out the Wish. Dashboard look is normal, the air-con design so small and ugly. The 3rd row seat is quite cramp comparing to Stream. 2nd row not so easy to move too. What a disappointment !

MadDog70 2nd Gear May 21, 2009 Share May 21, 2009 I'm of medium size. 2nd seat is quite ok with my knee very close to the back of the front seat. If I push this slightly backwards, then the 3rd row will suffer. I do not see this problem in Stream, could Stream be longer (I remember the designer added 20mm to give better comfort to the 3rd row)?

I am referring to the back of the seat, is it comfortable enough? The back of the seat (2nd row) loos like very short to me where I must extend the head rest to sit comfortably. Even with the head rest extended out, I still think it is not as comfortable as my Mazda
MadDog70 2nd Gear May 21, 2009 Share May 21, 2009 Jia lat, am I not clear? Let me re-phrase. 2nd row seat is quite ok with my knee very close to the back of the 1st row seat (my thigh is unusually long). So I push the 2nd row seat backwards a bit to free up my knee, then I go to sit into the 3rd row, I feel very cramp. I have to like squeeze my legs close to my buttocks and have to sit quite upright. Stream is so much better, I can sit comfortably in the 3rd row seat.

Even with the head rest extended out, I still think it is not as comfortable as my Mazda 5 i agreed.. the 2nd row seat is too short. u have to extend the headrest to be comfortable. Stream also have to but stream seat do feel more comfortable..

Cracker 1st Gear May 22, 2009 Share May 22, 2009 having driven my stream for almost 6 mths...(woah how time flies) my previous ride was a Optra (M)... I am staying in the west and work in the East...so daily travellin pattern is AYE - ECP..morning ride is smooth cos I start early ..but evening drive will be nightmare. Daily trip is abt 70 km. With the Optra,, I managed to obtain ard 14 km/l ..with the current stream..I still managed to hit 14 km/l....but I will prefer the Stream onboard FC meter to show instantaneous result instead of cummulative FC reading. As for the 3rd row..be it wish or stream..it is only good for kids or adult ard 1.6 m. So far i had sat in the 3rd row of Wish, Stream, Picnic and Honda Oddy.. definitely the last 2 cars were much better in accomodating taller adults and I believe the M5 should be the same...Also how much the second row is being pushed forward or backward will affect the comfort of the 3rd row passengers esp in the case of Wish and Stream... Correct me if I am wrong....but for stream...the 3rd row passengers can stretch their legs underneath the 2nd row seat....whereas it is no easy for Wish due to the seat configuration.. just my 2cts . For Mazda 5, the 3rd row is equally small. The only plus point I see for Mazda 5 vs Stream (I always wanted to buy a Stream since the day it launch and I even wait till KM RSZ is launched but decide to get a Mazda 5 instead) is that the driver side and the 2nd row seat are much more comfortable than Stream. For Mazda 5, the 2 passengers confirm can seat very comfortably as compare to Stream (Note, the central of 2nd row of Mazda is not as comfortable, but that is the VIP seat for my little kid, which is not a problem for her). I tested both car on the same day and booked a Mazda 5 instead. Same here, have my Mazda 5 for 6 months liao. ↡ Advertisement
