7seater Clutched June 14, 2009 Share June 14, 2009 After hesitating for some time between V12 & 595 EVO, take the plunge to 595 EVO. Changed it at Horizon Auto on 13th June. First time meeting Ah Ho. Nice chap. He help to make my rims look good on kerb rash. Wash the whole rim. Now using 195-55-15 size versus original 185-5-15 on my ride. Original tyre is Toyo Transpath suppose to be comfort tyre. After changed, steering feel lighter. Taking corners or loops can feel more stable. Noise al low speed like 40kph noisier than my old tyres. However, at 90kph is much quieter. Do note now the tyres are still new. Just 30km usage. For a start I think is worth it. Love it too. In my opinion, 595 EVo is a balance tyres between grip & noise. Yet to drive on wet road. I think if your are chainging tyre, can try Horizon Auto. Look for Ah Ho. Good service. I stay in Jurong and went to Paya Lebar to change it. Although there is another Federal shop in Jurong hich is much nearer for me. I am the person who focus more about service and after sale service. He also provide FOC lifetime tyre rotation, puncture repair, if you are buying tyres from him. For me I change 4 tyres. Maybe will share more after more usage. ↡ Advertisement
Weiming 1st Gear June 14, 2009 Share June 14, 2009 Thanks for the feedback on the experience at Horizon Auto. I am currently on Federal myself but model is the RS-R which is semi-slick installed by my vehicle's previous owner. Will definitely look up Ah Ho to change to the 595 Evo in the future. Likewise, I place emphasis on good customer service and support.

7seater Clutched July 19, 2009 Author Share July 19, 2009 So done about 2,500km on my 595 evo tyres. Previously on Toyo transpath, suppose to be comfort tyres. Dry grip very good. Can throw much higher speed at bends and sticks well. Even body roll also reduce. Wet grip not able to tried on heavy downfall. Normal rain very sticky. Noise at 60~70kph is noisier than at 90~100kph. Don't know why? But higher speed the noise is lower. However, still find the noiser is lower than my old tyres which has usd for about 53,800km. All above is just my feeling comparison on my ride between old and new set of tyres. So far no regrets. Loving it. Wear and tear need longer monitoring. Any way soon going to Genting. Lets try whether can put it much higher speed at bends.
