Rail13 Neutral Newbie July 14, 2009 Share July 14, 2009 i bought 3A high range car mat but after i took it out to dust it a few times, the mat start to break, damn lousy. the rest looks dirty and i wash it still the same ( mine is brown).......better to pay more for 3M. anyway the cut is lousy too, does not fit my car well Sort of agree... but again there are many vendors selling 3A mat and claiming durable and high grades... etc... if your're buying 3A, better look for Trusted source in other car forums... it comes with warranty too... ↡ Advertisement

Axela72 5th Gear December 26, 2009 Share December 26, 2009 Side track a bit. Does anyone know where can we get the car floor mat where the edges are perpendicular upwards? This will prevent the floor mat from slip or dirty from falling onto the side of the car. It is similar as a tray function. See below for examples. Think it is call floor liner: http://www.truckstuffusa.com/floormats.html http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp.aspx
Kopitehc Neutral Newbie February 20, 2010 Share February 20, 2010 For carmats, do u guy usually keep the original carmats under the new set of car mats? My agent gave me AAA carmats, top part ok but the base, v irritating, keep slightly off the position. No enough friction underneath? Any advise?? Where to recommened to find good carmats? I would prefer those without heel pad.

Jeff49er Clutched March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 I got the 3A mats and have been using them for 1.5 yrs. So far there is no wear n tear. Perhaps I am a OPC driver and is usually driven on some week nites and mainly weekends. Then again there is no abuse on the mat so the mats are still in good condition and vacuum and dust the mat every 2 months. The 3M are good and solid too but for the price I paid for 3A its worth it. Toity Neutral Newbie March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 Mine is 3M carmats, cost $100 when I bought it 6 years ago...the 5 pieces are still like new. I wash it with tap water once per year to get rid of the dirt that trap within the rubber gauze.

Karebu 1st Gear May 1, 2010 Share May 1, 2010 definitely 3M. its softer as well, if you take out your footwear and just rest your feet on them. 3A feels hard and rough.
Intel Clutched May 2, 2010 Share May 2, 2010 Depends on how u use it. Most of the time I been driving alone and without footwear. So it doesnt really wear. Been using the 3A mat for 1yr plus and it still looks new. =)
