Yes, Ho Chi Minh City. If you somehow wind up coming here on a trip, let me know. The Jap/ Korean resto operated by Japs/ Korean are good and relatively inexpensive compared to SG.

Hi, can share your lobang for korean food in HCMC?? I going there for a short getaway in two months time. thks! ^_^

Neutral Newbie

the last time i went to this suntec city korean restaurant next to kuiishinbo and this turkey restaurant... got some set bbq meals quite cheap...

but what's really good is the stuff that's not cheap [sweatdrop]

the top grade beef (not seasoned) is really good... IMO better than Ju Shin Jung's meats

Tried the Korean restaurant near to Giant Leisure Mall (JB).

Set meal for 4 about RM180, can choose from a few different set.

Got waiter to grille/cut the meat for you too.

Food quite nice.

Boss from Korea.

Duxton has one authentic family-run Korean restaurant that I patronized a few years back. Really good stuff with a private room for corporate hoo-hahs as well. You could try that out - but don't get distracted by the infamous Pinoy-bars dotting the landscape haha

Red Pig Korean Restaurant at 93 Amoy Street [thumbsup]. Very retro, with flexi exhaust hanging down, just like those in Korea. Signature dish is, of course, BBQ pork. They serve beef as well. Most importantly, it is reasonably priced. [sweatdrop]

Actually its the original/main restaurant of Ju Shin Jung, addy:

27 West Coast Highway #01-18/19

Yess Centre 1F Singapore 117867

I just tried last night with my family. The food was definitely good. We didn't order beef though it was their speciality. There was no buffet from Fri-Sun and we ordered chicken (really good), tiger prawns (very fresh) and mushrooms (great taste). With all the different side dishes and vegetables, it was a very full meal for everyone.

The staff serving us were courteous and bbq for us. Most of them are Fillipinos because my maid can communicate with them. The ordering staff spoke to us in Chinese (thought she was a Korean but more likely from China).

It was a very worthwhile and satisfying meal. I would say it's quite worth it spending $100 for 3 adults.

Last of all, they have this wet tissue which looks like a tablet. Don't drop it into your drink (not an effervescent that creates fizzling bubbles). Just pour water over it and the tablet will rise and become a wet tissue. Interesting! [thumbsup]
