I saw a convoy of them..about 5 of them... all same model of Merc.

 

I saw the driver... even inside the car also need to wear beret.

OT abit. Why these high ranking pple so status conscious? Got star must put outside let everyone see. Scare pple dunno they are generals. May as well as also hang crabs and chocolate bars in all cars - just to standardise for all officers.

i guess in some countries where the military is highly respected and war is a reality and way of life, rank plays a very important part. same reason as why in peaceful little "rich" countries like us, driving a big BMW is a "rank" to be shown off too
