Neutral Newbie

I think some of the guys I know here sure know I will post in this thread... [laugh]

I really like GT Radial tyres... value for money and decent performance. (normally slightly more than $100 for 16" or 17")

My previous car was on 17" BBS rims with Champiro HPZ (I think), I sold the rims and tyres to a friend who didn't change tyres until it was eventually scrapped.

My current car is currently using Champiro BAX which as an asymmetric tyre. Quiet and good performance imho. But it does lose it's grippyness as it pasts it's halfway wear down.

Very likely even will change to GT Radials in my other car when the tyres are worn.

However, interesting that I have recommended the brand to many friends, but none of them believe me and have used it. :D

now almost 15K on GT Radial 328 (205/50R16) .... low-speed noise is audible, however once hit above 80kph noise significant reduced. Good on dry but above-average on wet and experience "pull-back" across puddles. Overall good.

will try HPX next.

i tot the pull back effect means it can't grip the floor and is aqua planing? that is good?

Supercharged

if i not wrong, it's an indo brand, made either in china or indo..

fellow mate using it, claimed to be good in dry but damn noisy and sux at wet.

but to me, i don't find the grip was good.

myself was keen when i wanted to change my tires, but after reading reviews about GT and indo tires.

I discard the idea..

cheap thing don't come good.

hope this help [laugh]

any bros running on hpy ? need some FR ..

thanks.

I not using it but my brother does, in his Lexus saloon (225/40R18). HPY tread similar to Conti CSC3 (if I not salah).. He said so far so good - good grip, quiet and comfort. Currently done about 1k km..

Oh, it is also value for money - costs less than half that of the CSC3,... :o
