  3. Hi guys, Is looking at either of these 2 tyres from GT Radial... was wondering if anyone has experiences on them or info to share? I think they are MIC though. Champiro 328 Champiro UHP1
  4. Looking to get affordable tyres for 185/65r15. Supposed to be low rolling resistance with silica compound. Are these tyres good?
  5. It's time to change tyres again. Saw the big "GT Radial" banner at the top of MCF's home page and click it out of curiosity. Seems like it has quite a good range of products. Did a search in MCF but there were not many threads on this brand. Anyway, I have been through 2 sets of Hankook - V8RS and K415. I am keen to try out a different brand this time. GT Radial's BAX2 and 228 seem not too bad, both have silica compound as well so should be quite grippy. BAX2 is MII and 228 MIC. Looking at the threads I am leaning more towards BAX2. Anyone used BAX2 before will appreciate any comments from you. My tyre size is 195 60/R15. Called up Frankie from Soh Bros but unfortunately he didnt have stock for Bax2. He only has 228 at the moment. Any bros have other tyre recommendation cheap and good in the region of 80+ ~ 90 per tyre please let me know. Thanks very much
  6. Hi, Have anyone of you try using GT-Radial from Indonesia. It seem quite good with comfort, wet & dry grip & quiet. Thank you for your kind attention. Cheers, Antz_Ng
  7. Dear all, need your help in reviewing this 2 tyres .... regardless of grip in the rain or noise level. tyre agent keep promoting Accelera PHI .. then after researching ... some said its not tht kind in the wets while others had no trouble in the wets. But it doesnt rank well in Wet performance and braking. was quoted 170/pc for 235/40/18 on the other hand, came across GT radial HPY by chance. its top afew european test ranking. while both is Indonesia tyre, this seems to have more pack for performance in the wet. agent then say its not as good -.- quoted 130/pc 235/40/18 my main concern is in wet handling and noise comfort level =X im a sedate driver ... dont really push for speed. thanks all

  9. Hi,care to share any reviews on the above tires.. Tks
  10. Was talking to my mech over the weekend and he told me something interesting about rotating tyres: 1) If your tyres are radial, you should rotate them by shifting front to back & back to front on the same side. Do not cross them. Tyre wear and damage will be even faster. 2) Radial tyres can be moved across but only on the same plane (eg front LH moved to front RH) and the outer wall of the tyre should be the inner wall of the other side. 3) Only tyres that are labelled as cross radial can be cross rotated. 4) Direction of rotation should not be placed in opposite direction, to prevent damage to tyre and safety of car. it's interesting to know how much of what he said is true.
  11. Any comment on GT Radial tires? How's the pricing for 195-50R15 tyre?
