Hi guys, I was searching for a cheap alternative and came across unichip at under 500... but still need a tuner

Suggest you find a tuner first who can tune unichip and ask for a quote that includes the unichip.

It may not be worth the risk to get the unichip from Internet shopping which you will have difficulty seeking recourse or ship with wrong harness etc.

 

There may be other things needed to do up for your ride before tuning so best to talk to a tuner to get all the options then get the chip. It may end up that other solutions like open source, chips from other manufacturers or standalone ECU, can suit your ride better.

Not much savings..

Reputable tuners charge around $350 for install and tuning, excluding dyno.
