If Rafa had no hesitation dropping Stevie to the bench, I really do not see why he dare not drop Carra. The only reason why Carra is holding on to his place is due to Agger's injury and the Greek guy might not be doing better than him. Agger and Skrtel is likely the next central pairing and they complement each other perfectly, just like how Hyypia and Carra complement each other.

 

Lucas has improved tremendously this season and he is still VERY young. The journalists always pick you for a thrashing whenever Liverpool did not get a result which I think is freaking unfair to the lad.

 

Rafa is the boss and his decision must be respected. He is paid to do the job and I truly believe he made his selection after due consideration on the pros and cons of having Riera or Benny to start. It is always easy for us to criticise on hindsight but we "preferred" selection might not work out as well and we will never be proven right or wrong.

 

Keep the faith, the season is far from over.

Also, I can assure you that there isn't any fake Liverpool fans left as they they had switched camps to Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal long ago. Last heard is that some fake Man Utd fans are crossing over to the City side as well.

The fact is, we got our last UCL trophy (yes, the one we are now keeping it for good) due to optimism in believing that the tie was not over. Of course, the wonderful group of fans did their part as well as not many teams have such fans who will back the team all the way even though they looked died and buried by half time. If what you have said is just your belief, then why is it so that you can say something based on your belief but I can't? Aren't you practicing "double standard" here?"

 

During the first 5 years of Fergie's tenure as United boss, he did not win much either but the board and fans trusted him and stood by him. Care to explain what did Fergie do to earn that support? Answer to that, is exactly why Liverpool fans are sticking with Rafa. You can laugh at me and say I trusted Rafa blindly if he did not bring us from a UCL place challenger to a genuine title contender but he fact is, he did.

I always welcome your participation if you are here to discuss about football. If you are here to "entertain", then we might not need you as we do not really need a clown or a joker in here. I do not know who are the "liverpool fans" you mentioned who have "vested interest" in Man U but if you do not like what they are doing to your thread and you come and do likewise to Liverpool's thread, aren't you then telling them that what they are doing is okay since you are doing the same?

My apologies if my rare reply to your post sounds over zealous and a tad sarcastic.

 

Ultimately, i trust that you are one true fan & someone who who stood by his team through thick and thin. However i would appreciate your goodself not jump to personal assumptions that the majority of Man Utd fans either just "joined the fan club last year", or that they "will leave the club once Man U stops winning". To other fans in opposite camps, that simply smells of jealousy.
