Forgiveness is to be seek.. Not to be hand out.. Only when you seek for it, than it's resolution.. But latest news seem she is unrepentant. seeking forgiveness does not seen to be on her agenda. But seeking for people to forget about it so that she can come back and be the centre of attraction is.

Do you know that ppl are not willing to give forgiveness to ppl who go to jail even if they seek it? that is why we have the yellow ribbon. Forgiveness have to be given out first before they have the chance to redeem themselves.

At least this is what i believe. Giving forgiveness will actually benifit the one who give more than the one who recieved.

It's not a black and white issue. I think most people hate Ris Low's guts not because she committed a crime, but because she's showed herself to be unrepentant. At least that's how I feel. If you're truly remorseful, fine. Welcome back to society. Do good, do well.

But I think she deserves it not because she committed credit card fraud, but because she blames it on something else (bipolar disorder). Using someone else's credit card to chalk up $8,000 in bills is a deliberate, premeditated and very well thought-out process. The disease is greed, not bipolar. It was not a spur of the moment thing. The least she could do was to say sorry she was greedy in the past and it'll not happen again, instead of the bipolar-i-cannot-help-it crap.

But then again, her making an audio recording of the runner-up, Miss Lee (or something) which still did not prove that she faked her injury, did Ris Low in. Pretty sure she'll be stale news soon. I can't wait actually. But I'm pretty sure it's not the last we've heard of her. Her "bipolar disorder" will surely make news again soon, if not a couple years down the road.

i do agree with u...it is the attitude that gets to people I reckon...

When Micheal Fay got caned for vandalising cars back in the early 90s I wan in the States as a student. I too thought the punishmentswas pretty harsh but kept judgement to myself. Then the media circus there kicked up quite a fuss abt it.

Few years on I read Michael Fay was on drugs and physically abused his Father...the very same man who did all he could to get his son outta 'harm's way'. How to forgive pissheads like that???

you still have to forgive. the only thing is punishment need to be carry out. but blashing Ris Low on forum is pretty pointless.

Anyway Micheal Fay punishment was not harsh at all. Singapore should never had redraw the rotan on him.

It's easy to laugh/mock/put someone down....you have a good laugh and then you go on with your life....

The person you laughed at...whether or not he/she deserves it...continue the same life that was being mocked at....unlike you, she cannot walk away from the shame or the life.

Have a heart folks... [lipsrsealed]

So what if you know of people who also cheat in exams? So what if you had never been caught cheating in an exam? Is that something to be proud of? Is that what you want to teach your kids? Is that what you want your kids to see you as? So if the majority is doing it, does it mean it is okay?

Forgiveness is not earn. Forgiveness is given.

Yes her reaction so far is not good. but that does not mean that we can continue slaming her. we might not have done something like credit card fraud, but do you dare to say that you have never done a single wrong here?

i forgive her.. but she likes the attention so we're actually helping her by talking more abt her.
