What it says, tune to any singapore radio station when entering the tunnel - if got "in tunnel emergency" there will be some mehcanism whereby instructions are given to you via the commercial radio stations - just like when CD alarm sounds, you can tune to any radio station, dun have to tune to "special" station Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cos there's some problems with doing that. 1) May miss out the signboards, or its blocked by some other truck 2) When let go accelerator, the car will still be going at above 80kmh for some time. I saw it happen once when a car didnt slow down at the camera... the flash is unmistakenable... light up the entire tunnel haha, like lighting. The cameras are actually quite obvious one once you recognise them... they are grouped in 3s... usually 2 on your left and 1 on your right. Grey protuding rectgular boxes... usually after a camera signboard... but take note, there are also decoy signboards ie. no camera one... i usually travel around 80km/h until I reach the "real" cameras...
