WTF 4th Gear November 1, 2009 Share November 1, 2009 but the wipers quite new leh... i think 2-3 yrs only. I changed my first set when I hit 20k mileage, about 1 yr old. At about 40K about 2 yr old, change to 1 that is guaranteed for 3 yrs. Both was replaced when can hear loud screeching sound and the windsreen is worse off when the wiper is turned on during rain. Alfisti168 1st Gear November 1, 2009 Share November 1, 2009 2-3 years is eternity for the tropical weather in Singapore, bro! I rmb reading somewhere that it is recommended to change wiper every 6mths. But every 1 - 1.5 years should be sufficient.

Mits_jc 5th Gear November 2, 2009 Share November 2, 2009 no matter how u maintain, the wiper blades will deteriorate over time, more so if u park in open spaces. actually, how much is a pair of wiper blades (and i'm not talking branded, generic NWB brand will do) when compared to the cost of buying/maintaining ur car?? is there no way to maintain screen wipers and die die must change? cos exterior condition looks fine.
