Car auto door lock not working anymore. HELP!!

Hi all

My car has this feature to lock the car door automatically upon depressing the brake pedal after I just started the engine.

Recently, it is not working. The door no longer lock by itself.

Does it have to do with the car alarm system?

Is the sensor faulty or a fuse blown?

Anyone know has any idea?

Regards

Very hard to judge if f we don't know the system of your car.

If it's the same situation as my Dad's car, then it's the alarm. But best is to bring it to a workshop to check.

Or disconnect the battery recently?

Last time I had the same issue after disconnecting or changing the battery. Solution is to wind up the window and hold the button there for 2 secs or more. Then the auto up and down function will work again.

Not sure if yrs is the same case.
