And i thought American Football is dumb enough..

The term "Football" should be reserved for those that played under Association Football only... <_<

The games are clear

You have soccer, played with a round ball by dancing pooftahs who like to act

Then you have gridiron / american football played by pansies in pads

then you have Australian football played by ponces on an oval field

then you have Rugby league, which started as professional rugby, this is played by mirror loving rugby droputs

Then you have rugby football - the worlds manliest sport

You might wanna findout and confirm the other meaning of "fruitcake" first.

Just a few points.

I think Singapore is more racist than a lot of countries Singaporeans deem racist. The differences is that the racism is not directed at them (but them to others), as well as (as Singapore tradition) tend to be talking behind their back, rather than direct confronting directly. You do not get beat up, or verbal abuse in Singapore, which is a plus point I guess in Singapore.

In my personal experience, if you live in bigger cities, people tends to be more impatient, less polite, & maybe more racist. Small town folks are normally more patient, more friendly.

Not typical Singaporean behavior, but it helps when you are oversea (should do the same in Singapore as well, but of course, people will have that !!! look when you smile at them in Singapore)when you smile & greet people nicely, be it when you are shopping, dining, or supermarketing(I invent this word?), or talk to someone on the street. Make a big difference.

I cannot agree with someone that says everywhere is the same. Saying everywhere is the same is like women saying all men are the same, but then why so choosy?

A lot of Eastern Asian complain about overcrowding in their home country, but then go to the other less crowded country.......to live in their crowded cities! Then come back say everywhere is the same..(minus the climate)

What you can however say is that when we look at other places (intially, like when touring), we usually think only of the nice parts, only when you lived there (long enough), then you will see the bad part. You could (or not) like the place more than Singapore, or you deem easy access to local delights, & warm weather, beach etc more important for instance.

Australia is also a federal republic - meaning different states have different laws

Australia is not a republic.

NZ is nice, and I did not experience any racism on my three holidays there. Australia, OTH, is racist as fvck.

I considered retiring in NZ, but I like warmer climates, maybe Thailand for me.

i am already 33... is it too late to join the PR wagon?

hmmm planning to go ard 36 though...

Do your research.

Sometimes if you go and work or study there first, you can get higher points or a better chance of PR.

During wifey time, having a New Zealand degree was worth a few points, and then if you had worked after your degree in a related field for 2 years that was worth another few points.
