Squeky noise when going over road humps

Dear bros and sis out there...

When my car goes over a hump, there is always a squeky noise coming from the front wheels. Is that a suspension or coil problem? Doesn't seem that the back has this problem yet. The noise is getting louder right now if I am driving along uneven road surface or just inside car park ramps where there are those 'hole' type of surface. [confused]

It's a 06 toyotal Altis. Yah, i should think that the spring and coil means damper.

i no expert... but for vios, the back suspension, the spring is next to the damper sperated... unlike the front...

you can check with other bros, but seriously, jack the car, spray lotsa WD-40 or similar... squeaky sound should go away... if your dampers still good condition you can invest in a set of spring cushions... then should hv no more sound unless its from your brakes? (unlikely)... change pad or i've seen sprays for disc rotors to quiet it...

haha... i feel like a AA consultant in the mag...

ps: dont take my word for it... ask around... this just my thoughts... [:p]

thanks bro. I doubt it's the rotor because I have got Borneo Motors to skim the surface in Aug due to another kind of noise. I might think it could be either the damper or suspension. Perhaps I chiong over humps quite often...silly....

put handbrake, open bonnet... use both hands + your body weight and try to pump the suspension or get a frd to do it and you put your ears nearer and listen.... :-)

Hanip is a toyota expert... ask him lah...

think it can be suspension problem.better send to workshop for checking and adjust.sometimes the nut may not tighten well.Mechanic can help you adjust and also ask them to inject some supergrease as ZX1.make your car smooth.
