Pocus Turbocharged February 23, 2010 Share February 23, 2010 For those looking for something rarer and more hardcore version of the Colt Ralliart, You may be interested in this more track-biased Limited edition "CVR Special" http://www.irmag.sg/ridesDetail.php?ID=08COL This is Colt Ralliart in it's highest order. Besides the extra spot welding that already gives the Ralliart 33% more rigidity that the regular colts, they when further with the "Special" version by giving it continuously STEAM WELDING....stock from the factory!! This manual only "special" also comes with a Ralliart muffler(rebadged HKS), Recaro seats as standard, limited edition Mica Blue body and black rims, and the "special" badge with serial number riveted into the gearbox panel plus all the goodies found in the manual version. Pocus Turbocharged February 23, 2010 Share February 23, 2010 wow... this is indeed is best for stock.. but too bad it come with manual... wonder if they were to use SST gearbox on this model SST would be nice....even for the regular Colt ralliarts.....have only dream. If Mit built the next CVR with SST, I dun mind switching to it. But seeing the euro colt with the sharkface grille of the old and tall chassis is enough to put me off liao. I was actually toying on the idea of respraying my ride to this color when the time comes. The blue color alone will attract alot of attention. Oh...don't expect this special edition to come cheap though....could be priced between a REX or Jetta TSi.

Zafchen Neutral Newbie February 24, 2010 Author Share February 24, 2010 lets hope so... hopefully even their base LAncer Ex is using it... yea... auto transmission come a long way... cos now twin clutch is still kinda new and more ex compare to standard auto transmission... so for now in order to cut cost, will not see twins clutch transmission as standard.... Unless the Jap is heading VW way

Unless the Jap is heading VW way I am not sure about the rest of Japan. But from what i see so far, Mit is heading Conti way. SST. One plateform shared by multiple model. And look at the amount of item the stuff into the car. Edited February 24, 2010 by Joseph22

Turbonetics 2nd Gear February 28, 2010 Share February 28, 2010 Singapore got CZT? I thought that's the Euro spec? BTW CZT looks like the normal colts, although it's TCed but it's chassis is not reinforced and it's suspension setup is different, even for the new Euro's Colt Ralliart (shark-faced facelift available only in Europe) Think we are lucky to get the higher-spec of the Colts. LOL I agree, in fact I feel most hot hatches are meant for ladies, but in SG where owning a car is a luxury, people are willing to compromise of mindsets. The only complaint on the looks I have is the height, the car looks too top-heavy. we have around 2-4 cabriolet colt czt here.
Turbonetics 2nd Gear February 28, 2010 Share February 28, 2010 (edited) You must have been driving the Auto version. The manual version is easier to pick up from stationary. That said, EX GT and Colt Version R both have about 155bhp, but the EX GT is so much heavier, obviously it's not as responsive. But once on the highway, the EX will be much more stable, and has no floating feeling. the cvr isnt that bad at highway too. at the speed limit or slightly above,i can easily zip in and out of traffic overtaking vehicles without any feel of unstability at all. and also the MT cvr has got higher torque and power. Kenmical Clutched March 2, 2010 Share March 2, 2010 What abt tuning ? Heard e-manage cant really tune the car properly.. It is tuner in Spore can't use e-manage well for CVR not the other way. It work similarly as other piggyback in fact e-manage ultimate is prob better than say unichip.

True....if you're not paying attention to the meters sometimes you dun even know you already hit 140km/h...the car still feel like it's less than 100km/h. ↡ Advertisement
