So he put up a similar number plate SJF9920K, same as another similar white Ex which freqent clarkquay where this loser work as valet. The real owner got 3 parking summons since Oct09 and real owner complained to the Cicso. Sure enough the Cisco warden called him up today to ask him to go down toa particular carpark to say whether that EVOX is his or not! Immediately he made police report and the case is solved. Just wondering how many illegal duplicate licence plate car are on the road. Lessons to learn? Want to make crime....at least please do not illegal park or speed lah. Wah got money to buy EvoX...but no money to pay installment....Now Tai Chi Tua Diao liao for this guy. Game Over due to his silliness. Whats wrong with people that can't tell one car from another, especially when they are of same base model. There are people who can't tell F360 from F430, or cayman with Carrera. He obviously haven't heard of the saying. he could have been earning decent money until he got retrenched and now works as a valet to tide over the times? and anyone who has a car knows that selling a brand new car would mean he will lose quite a bit of money, so he held on to the car. sure, what he did isn't right, but you guys are too fast to judge. For example, they buy a Starlet 1.0 locally. Then they import cheaply a 1.3 turbo Starlet and use the registered license plate on this higher performance one. The lower-spec car gets driven to M'sia and stored there in some kampung or workshop until inspection time... Starlet (to cover 1.3 turbo) Integra (to cover Type R) Civic (to cover Type R) Lancer (to cover Evo) Impreza (to cover WRX) but it's all hearsay. i've never verified this rumour. could be just people being tua-kang Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
